They were a guilty pleasure of mine. As Dub said, the books are pretty graphic and the story line is really interesting and unique. I loved the series...and I'm not ashamed of it. It would be amazing if they would make an R rated film out of it, but I'm afraid the movies will be awful. I'll still watch, but I'm not hopeful.
