Title: EMAWer's in Los Angeles
Post by: ben ji on March 08, 2010, 09:52:41 AM: So a fellow EMAWer I work with just moved out to Cali-Four-Nia and has had no luck finding a KSU bar to watch our ball club at. Any one know of any KSU friendly bars or alumni groups in the Los Angeles area.

From what I have heard, it sounds like the alumni association out there likes to move around a lot on where they have events. I know there are a lot KU and/or K-State people in the south bay (Hermosa-Manhattan-Redondo). Do you know what general part of LA is he moving to?

Post by: Johnny Wichita on March 08, 2010, 06:32:30 PM: Sounds like the Parlor in Santa Monica is pretty good. Have heard this from two different people. I've also heard 705 in Hermosa. I've never been to either of those places. I know the North End Bar and Grille in Hermosa is a decent place to watch a game if you can get a good seat. Had many good memories there.
