It seemed like in previous years most of our B12 games were on ESPN+. This year we are getting a heavy dose of Stan and Boyle and the KSU broadcast. Are we making money off of this? Is it because there is less demands for our games? A combo?
Just wondering.

It's annoying as eff for those of us outside the area.

I'm actually watching the game on espn3. getting the ISU feed. I assume same as you.
Horrid quality and their camera man often cuts out the ball handler when he is handling up top.
It is interesting listening to the ISU guys talk about how we play.

No Jake.

Yeah. It's awful. The camera thing is hilarious.

Good selection by B12 Network to choose Okie St v. Tech tonight. Although quality is so bad on those broadcasts I really don't mind.
-
the halftime frank yelling at stan compilation was fantastic, though
-
I love how partisan the Iowa state guys are. Wish we had that.
"that's a tough call whistling white for the body there...especially with how k-state has got away with using their hands on the other end."
-
Also love when they repeatedly call it "the contest".
-
"Rodriguez will have to wave goodbye to Hilton coliseum on his first trip here."
-
"Good recognition by babb there to draw that perimeter foul"
-
It's because we were picked 6th in the conference.
And man oh man were those ISU guys terrible. Made me wish for Greg Gurley. Woof.

Can anyone tell me why the games covered by the Big 12 network etc. that I watch on ESPN3 are filmed in widescreen but show up with the sides cut off on my stream? It really pisses me off and I wondered if it was the same for everyone or if there were some way I could fix that.

It's like that for everyone and I I think it's because the feed somehow comes from ESPN Full Court and Full Court is garbage SD only.

I thought so too, but the stream on firstrowsports.tv was in widescreen and said it was ESPN3 on commercial breaks. It was extremely choppy and the audio sucked though, so I couldn't stand it.

Be happy we don't have the PAC 12 basketball TV package, which is almost nothing.
