I see nothing wrong with standing up to people who hate Euro-America. Seems pretty anti- :opcat: to me.

This ^ Mods gave up his IP.

Surprised it took the left 22 years to find this "evidence" of "racism". Funny, whenever someone needs to be "outed" as a racist, decade old evidence always turns up. Dan Rather, where are you?
also, boingboing jfc

It's crazy that people would look closer into the history of someone when they're running for president of the united states.
-
People were looking for the obama birth certificate for decades michigancat you dumbass

Good point, I forgot this was Ron Paul's first run at president, not his third or something. It's not like he's been a congressman for dozen or so terms in what was historically a democrat district. Yeah, I'm sure this is just an example of people looking closer.
Thanks for lowering the overall general discourse in this country, idiot.

My uncles have assured me that he hid it in his workboots.

I'm pretty sure it came up last time he ran. He didn't do as well that time.
Also, great point about me lowering the overall general discourse in this country, Fake Sugar Dick.

Yeah, everyone probably forgot about that and then decided the re-cycle the news four years later. Afterall, it's Ron Paul, not some crazy guy with an enormous cult following who's always on tv and a best selling author and stuff.

Please. Newsletters were the social media of the 1980's. Most of the stuff he wrote in them was just rap lyrics.
-
I stand corrected. I change my argument to the 2008 time period. Second presidential run, 10 or so terms in congress, same other stuff.

The newsletters were discussed during some of his congressional races, too. I don't feel like googling for you any more, though, because you aren't very nice.

he's nice to me. maybe you should hold your message board persona up to the mirror.

If that newsletter pictured is the best example of "how racist" those newsletters were, and what a "racist" Ron Paul is, then it's probably not much of a story. Pretty sad that it keeps getting recycled by the media.
Ron Paul has plenty of flaws, being a racist isn't one of them. If anecdotal evidence of this type is how you pick and choose presidents to vote for, I suggest you do us all a favor and shoot yourself in the face.

There's a chance I would vote for him if he made it out of the primary. But for the general public, this can make you unelectable to the general population, which is why it's a story.
-
Yeah if you actually belive those racist letters....your a rough ridin' delusional puppet. Seriously lol.
I dont see how people would vote for anyone other than Ron Paul.
Who else is actually going to cut into our debt? Not just proposed increases over a span of ten years which wouldnt Cut crap lol Romeny is a big big big government puppett. And will be exactly like obama when it comes to things getting done in the white house... he will continue to feed the Military Industrial Complex and police the world..... News flash guys! Were rough ridin' broke.

Boom.
freedom is truly popular.

The only real problem I have with Ron Paul is Ron Paul supporters. I have never before seen such an in your face motley crew of birthers, truthers, moon landing conspiracists, secessionists, and militia members. Ron Paul support is my #1 reason for Facebook deletion and it has nothing to do with Ron Paul's views.
