Remember when one of the reasons people elected Obama was because people were worried about our "image abroad"?  We've gone from bully that everyone respected to idiot uncle everyone laughs at.  Well done, Barack, well done.

This administration is a full frontal embarrassment.

We should drop those sanctions. And any sanctions on Cuba while we're at it. I mean Cuba, seriously, LOL.

It doesn't matter who we sanction anymore (unless it's Cuba), the rest of the world could give two shits.  Our leader is completely ineffective.

We are rapidly becoming an irrelevant western country that likes to talk about how important we are, nobody worth a damn is listening.

What an absurd notion . . . "the rest of the world could give 2 $hits"?

Yes, the rest of the world cares so little that Iran is conducting all kinds of military drills and threatening to close the Strait of Hormuz.   Just because China and India will likely circumvent the embargo on Iranian oil exports, doesn't mean the embargo doesn't still impact Iran.

What is interesting is that so few people actually look back, nor look beyond these events except as they're unfolding that day.   Why did we do what we did in Libya?  It was to keep the free flow of oil to European countries and to thwart Chinese influence.    The various events of the last 10 years, and everything going on now is straight out of the Brezenskian concept of control of Central Asia and its resources.   This administration and the NATO countries couldn't possibly care less about "democracy" during the "Arab Spring/Summer/Fall/Winter/Spring" . . . what they care about is that these countries are in line with Western Banks, trading their resources with Western Currency and making their resources available for control by Western corporations.

SODJ,

What do you think about the NDAA and the President's new ability to detain and interrogate US Citizens sans due process?  Should B.O. just suspend the writ of habeas, declare Marshall law and get it over with?  Seems criminal
