He pays 500 more a month for the Bodyguard than he does a Chef...A CHEF!

Not to mention he only pays his bodyguard 24 grand a year. I'm not risking my life (as if anyone knows who Mario Chalmers is and wants him dead) for 24 k.

i don't want to defend some dumbass who has a daughter, much less allows her to be named queen elizabeth.  but he's obviously contracting for services, not hiring employees.
