Congratulations
Your name has been randomly selected for the opportunity to purchase two (2) all-session tickets for the 2012 Big 12 Men's Basketball Championship. On Tuesday, Jan. 24 after 3 pm CT, you will receive an email including account information and unique password to complete the purchase opportunity.

NOTE: The purchasing opportunity begins at 10 am CT on Wednesday, Jan. 25 (while supplies last). All-session tickets include all sessions for the four-day championship and are $225 each. Tickets are subject to availability and all sales are final. The opportunity is only valid for the selected registrant during the specified time period below and is not transferrable.

Is $225 a ticket for all sessions in the upper deck worth it?

I was selected as well but may not be able to afford to buy these tickets.  If I don't does anyone want the opportunity to buy them tomorrow?

Buying and selling is a big risk. First day tix go for crap, and will only be worse since you can count on MU getting a bye. Second day you almost have to get MU, KU, and KSU split somehow so that each session is worth something. Champ session is worth at least a hundred per ticket as long as KU is in it. If Baylor and a non 3 local school ends up in the finals the price will crash.

Ticket office has them for $195 upper level from what I received in the mail today.  $350 lower level sides seems pretty damn cheap too.

You cannot sell games for the first day.  They are worthless. Plus, there are only two games on the first day now.

There will be four games on the second day, which are two sessions worth of tickets. If KU is in the opposite session, you can sell a ticket for probably twice it's face.

I like to use these type threads to advise everyone that I will be in a suite at mid-court during these Big XII matchups at the Sprint Center.

Unless it's a championship game and you are fighting racism with Trim, I agree.

Yes, upper deck is great if you can get in the front row and you have the spirit of a Puerto Rican Rosa Parks when it comes to flags at basketball games.

The sale's at 10.  I looked last night and they're selling the all-session for $225 which is in between the lower deck and upper deck price from KSU.  Not sure where these seats will be.  Probably shitty.

If ku and mu play in the final you could probably make you money back plus some just on that ticket alone.

I reccommend you still go to ACE Tickets in the mall and try and sell first session.

I vaguely remember being in the upperdeck and some OSU fan was wanting to suck off Sherron, but don't recall the exact story

Wonder what is going to happen to those people that actually got to purchase tickets - some got through according to Facebook.  I was able to get in finally and had 4 in my cart but went to pay and got an error message.

I was assuming most of the Tucks were JOCO born and bred. Tucking is a very JOCO move, tbh.

I'm going to have to disagree here Khan. To me Tucking is a very hayseed move, when I think of a Tuck I think of Joe Larson, owner of the Clay Center Co-op wearing his 1993 copper bowl shirt tucked into his wranglers.

Now that you mention it, I have to take back what I said and agree.

I think there are prominent JOCO tucks to be sure, but yes...it is a rather hayseed thing to be tuck.
