I don't like that our dumbass students do it either, but not because of some regard of a song but because its a sign of shitty football and stupid combo fans infecting our basketball program.

Home of the chief turds fall somewhere between thieves and rapists on righteous scale.

Home of the Chiefs is really stupid. Honestly.
It's like ugg boots. Everyone thinks it's pretty obnoxious and it hurts me to see, yet people still wear them. It defies explanation.

I think our fans have been doing it a little more lately just to mimic or mock the ku fans that have been doing it for quite some time. I don't ever remember our fans doing it at a basketball game prior to this year. Wednesday night it was yelled pretty loud. But I do remember it happening at our football games quite a bit in the 1990's when the Chiefs were actually good. I don't necessarily like that it happens, yet for some reason I can't help but laugh at the absurdity of it. I know the people that do it just love to get under the skin of those who are offended by it.

Probably doing it as a real-life version of the hilarious new twitter account, @ShitKUFansSay.
