Victor gives us no inside presence on defense and  he is pretty much useless on offense.      If we are going to go small and put a 6'6 guy at the 4 spot.... please put Shane there.    Southwell played quite a bit in the first half and then played like 30 seconds in the 2nd half

We have a deep bench..... but that does not meen we have to play every freaking schoolarship player on it.

Funny thing is guys are getting in the doghouse and these other guys he is throwing in there............. uhh its not helping our defense one bit.   3 straight games the JYC have been nowhere to be found

Serious question? Does anyone else think they could take Ojeleye one on one? I mean ya, he'd play solid D on ya, but if you get hot from outside it could be a long day for him. He wouldn't be able to finish on offense. I like my chances.
Title: Re: Ojeleye
Post by: wabash909 on January 18, 2012, 11:27:08 PM
FYI.

Ojele with 19 minutes tonight.

With a 14 point lead in the first half, Ojele proceeded to miss a 3, miss the front end of a one and one, miss a two, and travel off a rebound.  The lead evaporating to 4 during that stretch.

Lessons taught.

Lol, no way you are getting hot from the inside.  Guaranteed he's quicker on D and better at staying in your face than you would expect by watching him play against high major DI bball players all the time.  I think you'd be lucky to get a shot off, and probably get dunked on more often than not.  Just IMHO.

Ojeleye has some good flexibility from a punishment/lesson teaching standpoint for Frank.

JO obviously needed to be taught a lesson.  Southwell also.  I'm with you, couldn't figure out the lack of Jet.
