should be a good game. T-Rob will need some help. but i'm sure he can go about 12 minutes in beast mode embarrassing the eff out of the Baylor bigs. also Jackson - Taylor should be a great matchup at the point.
Rock Chalk.
-
I want Drew killed, but I don't think KU has it in them this year
-
KU will win by 12. #TSC
-
eff scott drew
-
It will be fun to watch taylor come out in heat check mode the first five minutes.
-
KU will win by 12. #TSC
If Baylor is that lucky.
-
beak 'em hawks! a critical game on our way to our 8th straight confy title!
-
hopefully espn has a camera on BU during the pregame vid
-
i always root for ku, even when we're playing them. i just root for the less than i root for ksu. go TSC.

-
Darn, I wanted to start an AllenBooHouse vs Sys'sFavorite thread.
-
tsc.
-
i want scott drew stopped. Rock Chalk.
-
i want scott drew stopped. Rock Chalk.
Scott Drew is going to do a full squat, raise his fists up while curling his arms, shake said fists, all while mouthing "eff Yeah!" after some v important rebound near the end of the game. All while keeping this thread in mind.

Yeah...he also did exactly what I described above around the 1 minute mark.
-
I hope Scott Drew leads both teams in a postgame prayer circle.

AFter losing. #tsc
-
11:34 of first half; Drew removes jacket. 9:12 of 2nd; Drew removes tie.
-
KU by 20+
-
Baylor's luck will run out tonight
and by luck I mean no way they get through the last 5 minutes of the game foul-free.
-
Beak'em.

I'll take the over on 8:26 of jacket time. Tie is tougher.....I'll take the over as well though a push is tempting
-
Brent to Bob "Bob, what are your thoughts on Baylor and Kansas in Manhattan tonight?"
Got to be embarassing for KU that everyone outside of Lawrenctucky thinks they are us.
-
Heart is TSC.
Mind says Baylor romp.
-
11:34 of first half; Drew removes jacket. 9:12 of 2nd; Drew removes tie.
Drew is getting a T tonight. My gut is telling me Baylor by ten, my tsc is telling me rock chaulk jayhawk at the 1:53 mark of the second half. :emawkid:
-
Need to know if T-Rob is in or out of jail for the game? I will make my predicto then.
-
eff all your tsc bullshit. if ku was playing al qaeda, I'd root for al qaeda.
-
You know who isn't going to bend over and take a raping from the big 12 refs? Bill self and the finest fans in america, rock chalk.
-
You've got KU coached by the Massa on MLK day against one of the largest Christian universities. If there's a higher power I don't know how KU pulls this out. The refs better be :opcat:. KU should win this big, but it looks like things are stacked against them.
-

-
Will this crappy Big Least thugball game ever END?!?! :shakesfist:
-
ku wins surprisingly easily
-
oh eff. that oop was nasty.
-
I love after every T Rob dunk.... His look to the crowd/bench and yell/gun show is amazing.
-
Scott Drew going with the 'Nobody guard T-Rob, put 5 guys on the other 4' strategy. Bold. Let's see if it pays off. #TSC
-
THAT OOP WAS BEAST MODE OHHHHH
-
Officiating has been hilariously one sided. TSC!!!
-
KU getting jobbed by the refs. BOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.
-
Crowd is very quiet. C'mon hawk fans!
-
get angry AFH!
-
can't explain this silent crowd. Are the students back?
-
I want a quick guard like Pierre Jackson. Quickness.
-
can't believe Jackson was a juco. jfc
-
Good TO by Self. Has to slow down the more athletic BEars.
-
Wasn't Blake Young juco player of the year or something? I wonder why he sucked so bad.
-
Baylor is clearly better, let's hope the "phog" can slow them down and propel our boys to victry
OT: Whitey is lol terrible
-
Robinson isn't in jail tonight. Gotta give the nod to hawks.
-
AllenBooHouse is very quiet . . . blue hair city must rule the day.
Pure ugly behind the ESPN broadcast position . . . wow, nasty!
-
How hard will arky fans celebrate losing to Kentucky tomorrow?
-
Love withey's hair. Perfect.
-
Hate both teams, hope they all die of Bubonic AIDS. Sucks that they're better than the Cats. eff'em
-
booooooooo.
-
I think that is a make up for when Taylor tried to injure Jones. Bad call.
-
Love withey's hair. Perfect.
Yep, he looks much less rapey.
-
There's AllenBooHouse . . . but not with a lot of zeal. Bluehairs must be heading out for popcorn and coffee at half.
-
BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
-
I want a quick guard like Pierre Jackson. Quickness.
Yes please
-
There's AllenBooHouse . . . but not with a lot of zeal.

Bob Davis even trying to raise the zeal level . . . probably with an OOOOHHHHHHHHHTHEY"REGONNACALLIT . . . .
-
Is there a bigger dork than Bob Fescoe?
-
Is there an uglier student section in all of college basketball than what exists at AllenBooHouse . . . it's shocking.
-
Looks like Drew let his guys watch the intro video. Game over.
-
Good night for TSC'ing . . . pretty disappointed in K-State and Frank losing to loser ass Scott Drew at home.
-
Perry Jones hurt *
-
The team should have held up a picture of Scott Drew and then made Frank run steps for 2.5 hours.
-
:driving:
Perry Jones hurt *
came here to post this
-
Baylor is clearly better.

Nightly devotionals. Probably better at Aramaic studies, too.
-

-
Good win for the Hawks.
-
Wow . . . how did Frank lose to Scott Drew at home, they're a stupidly coached team.
SMH
-
Drew is going to cry like a woman.
-
Getting exposed.
TSC
-
Take off your tie, Drew, you rough ridin' loser.
-
Point, Sys.
rough ridin' KU is a different animal in that place.
-
Doesn't hurt that the baptist aggies refuse to get within 4 feet of whoever has the ball.
-
Go the state of Kansas! Big win tonight!
-
Doesn't hurt that the baptist aggies refuse to get within 4 feet of whoever has the ball.
Kind of what I'm saying, teams go in there and play like absolute ass.
-
It's a come back!!
-
It's a come back!!
lolz

Remember when people thought KU wouldn't win the conference?
-
Ummm......Never mind. (https://goemaw.com/forum/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fi155.photobucket.com%2Falbums%2Fs313%2Fjbleinweber%2FEmoticons%2FEmoticon-jawdrop.gif&hash=c84734103f7e5837be9752b87dca039cc00b0c7a)

BU is completely out of their game. Ku at home is a buzzsaw. New year, different players, same result. Doesn't matter
-
any team that plays with 4-5 star players is a buzzsaw at home.
-
The team should have held up a picture of Scott Drew and then made Frank run steps for 2.5 hours.
Oh, man. This post needs some love.
-
-
tyshawn's defense on the perimeter (+releford & johnson) was a huge factor. you saw how they shut down the dribble drive where we got punished. they are so much more athletic (stronger and longer and quicker) than we are on the perimeter.
their success on defense might have to do w/ a different defensive philosophy. ku is aggressive on defense but i can't remember if they guard to the half court line with all 5 guys like we do. do you see Withey hedging on ball screens like JO (can't remember). if JO is guarding his man (who is setting a ball screen) all the way out on the perimeter and they can't stop the ball screen how does he get back to defend the paint.
maybe this belongs in the criticize Frank thread?
-
How many 5 star players?
-
Remember when people thought KU wouldn't win the conference?
Man whomever thought that is a complete dumbass. :nono:

They get away with more fouls in AFH than anyone anywhere.

This is what it all boils down to. Do all the HBBIQ Xing and Oing you want, but it doesn't matter if you can hack and slap and bludgeon until the ball pops loose.
-
it looks like they are allowed to rape and murder and then rape the murdered body while going for a rebound. but on the perimeter i'm not sure they get away with a lot more than normal teams at home. their fans do an amazing job of intimidating the refs.

This. Their crowd deserves a lot of credit for psychologically intimidating the ref (which should really be the top priority for any home crowd). Just amazing at booing.

It's why sys was so pissed at our fans after BU.

It's also hilarious how KU fans try to "insult" every other fan base in the conference by saying they "boo" everything, all the while not realizing that not only is this a good thing, but that they are best at it.
-
I may leave the flags home tomorrow and focus solely on booing.

Interesting parallel to AFH:
Dohmen found that home-field advantage was smaller in stadiums that happened to have a running track surrounding the soccer pitch, and larger in stadiums without a track.

One less to worry about if #teamangel is still sitting.

No chance of that, and ar-t needs to see that flag up there now more than ever.

Good God I agree 100% with MIR. The fact that he has given you a shout out in twitter for bringing those flags shows what nice work they are.

I just discovered tonight that I'm only one degree of separation from these guys. Would love to convince them to do a case study followup on the self-described "angriest fan base" to see where we really rank. And, more importantly, have them break down the most rewarding times during a game to engage in specific behaviors (negative booing, positive cheering, disappointed oooooh!ing and the like.

pomeroy disagrees (http://insider.espn.go.com/mens-college-basketball/story/_/id/7532021/ken-pomeroy-best-home-court-advantage-kansas-kentucky-duke-ncb):
First, let's consider what makes up home-court advantage. I think there are four things that give the road team a disadvantage: altitude, travel, unfamiliarity with the surroundings and hostile fans. Based on this study, I also think that's their order of importance.
