will it only work for mods?

every time i wrap it in the html tag i look at the code in edit mode and the html tags are gone.

yeah users cannot use html code for the obvious reasons .

not so much security as dumb-asses rough ridin' up the coding of the site by messing up tags and not closing stuff properly.  I mean we have enough trouble quoting correctly.

It should be noted that most mods also can't post HTML
