In the future I'd recommend you go to Watch ESPN's FAQ section and look up why a program is blacked out and utilize your cable or satellite program guide accordingly.

The Denver blackouts are bizarre. What's really weird about stuff like that is you probably can't track down someone that would be able to explain why it's blacked out there but not in Kansas.

Have you tried tethering your phone as a work around?  back in the days before ESPN3 allowed remote login, the trick when you had an ISP that did not carry it was to log on with a At&t phone to get the game window open then switch back to the broadband network.  hth

Did you purchase the sports pack or do you live in Kansas?  Because the Avalanche is considered the local hockey market for most of Kansas, we get Altitude & FSN as local RSNs.  I only know this because my favorite hockey team plays in the Western Conference and I am forced to watch Altitude when they play the Avs.

Do some strategic slingbox placement in Kansas.  It has saved my ass a few times since I've moved to CO

Topeka market doesn't have HD locals yet for Directv, damn.  IMO the HD picture on YES looks better than the other stations on the sports pack, don't know why that is.  Altitude is okay and MASN always looks cloudy to me.  I know ESPN better get this HD full court crap figured out for 12-13.

Yep, incidentally the last season I had to watch full court, until 12-13 anyway

cancelled full court last year and told them because there were no HD games on full court.

yes.  pic wasn't great.  the KU / ISU game looked a lot worse than the KSU / OU game.    i am surprised they aren't blacking out the Alt games in MHK.  maybe because fox 43 is doing the games this year.

95% of the country has local HDs.  at least i get HD ABC and NBC out of NY.

I almost enjoy ESPN3 more. Hooking up the laptop to the TV is a hassle but I think the feed quality is better.
