Title: 1 in 4 drivers are impaired on the road
Post by: pissclams on January 13, 2012, 03:28:07 PM
wow.

link (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oHg5SJYRHA0)

it's hard to believe that 1 in 4 drivers are either drunk or on some other drug that should prohibit them from driving. wtf?

i made a commitment to myself that i wouldn't drive drunk about 7 years ago and i haven't since.

The "Drivers from (fill in blank) can't drive in the snow" is one of my fav talking points in the midwest.

Everyplace has bad drivers.  No one is good at driving in snow.

didnt' feel like making a new thread. should I pay $140 dollar ticket or go to court tomorrow?
scenario running late a few weeks back headed down sunset getting ready to turn left onto anderson hesitate when green arrow quickly goes from yellow to red and I stop somewhat in the crosswalk(no one is waiting to walk or in crosswalk) but dont go through the red light. bad person cop is right next to me, pulls me over  :blah: :blah:"im a dirty whore" heres a ticket.   :shakesfist:

What was the specific violation? Is stopping somewhat in the crosswalk a crime? I recently got pulled over for not blinkering and the warning ticket said "unsafe driving" which sounds pretty rough ridin' arbitrary. You should probably go to court just to see what happens. I'm too lazy to go to court an would probably just pay it.

"stop past cross walk on red light, statute/article/resolution 4-r" signed bad person cop
although I stopped past it when it was yellow, thought the non turning light would go to green

Go to court if you don't have anything better to do. It's not worth taking off work or anything, though.

Go.  You can probably get the cop twisted and have him say something like it's illegal to not go through a red light.  I've done it before.  They're easy when it's something human judgment based rather than a speeding ticket w/radar or KSUBrian blowing a .22.
