go ahead and change the board name.
-
crowd was pathetic killed us
-
Thank god we won't have any more townie games. :flush:
-
Yeah, Sandstorm looked like a sandsprinkle
-
crowd was pathetic killed us
Crowd was pathetic indeed. Thinking they killed us is rough ridin' Fake Sugar Dick (WARNING, NOT THE REAL SUGAR DICK!) though.
-
The crowd doesn't make us make careless passes that get stolen and result in dunks half the rough ridin' time we bring the ball up the court.
(But yes that townie crowd was terrible.)

Their lbbiq was the difference. A smart crowd boos every call that goes against their team.
-
It was pretty loud on TV (eff you, not a student, not going to every game)
There was a play where one ref called a foul, but the other ref couldn't hear the whistle and called a different foul a couple seconds later :bball:
:doom:
-
For a break game the crowd seemed fine to me. :dunno:

another townie heard from.

it wasn't you, mcmw. we needed 12k mcmws.

there is something offensive about having half empty sections (22-5) with the number 4 team in town. Hell Howard had as many fans. Terrible showing for the Octagon tonight.
-
I booed. Extensively. Peggy Po's/Nancy Neg's up in the morning by the way.

I can confirm.
-
Didn't sound bad on tv, save for during Baylor's runs. Also- I saw Baylor's AC hold up cards during the especially loud moments, similar to the ones used during f-ball games. Don't remember ever seeing that before, is it common?
-
I stood the entire game, section 18 row 12. Pretty close to Kat Pak head holder. Bood my throat raw and cursed like a damn sailor next to a 10 year old kid. His pops was cursing too so it was cool. Very upsetting to see our students suck balls and our townies suck more balls. Couldn't buy a good crowd during break.
-
sys, I know you aren't talking to me specifically, but it hurts when I boo my ass off all night and almost black out multiple times and you say the crowd sucked. The first 10 rows of section 20 were very angry.
-
first of all I want to make it clear that I'm fairly certain that I think I know what's happening in this thread, so this is just an observo
When Scott Drew called his last time out and Sandstorm was played the officials on the floor didn't hear the first or second horns, they were just standing around they weren't even looking at the timekeeper who indicates the horn with his fingers. I've never seen that before.
-
If it wasn't for the crowd, this game was a 50 point blowout for baylor. Crowd reeled in the refs.

Townies (myself included) seemed very angered up tonight.
I sit in sec 18, row 1, and the only unfortunate part is that row 2 is full of crippled fatasses who can't seem to stand, and start yelling if anyone impedes their viewing angle. This includes me standing, students standing in the aisle (happened tonight), and ushers in the way (happened tonight). This doesn't effect my loudness, but it definitely pisses me off. What do people do in these situations when you know that nobody will be changing seats for the next decade or so?
Also, I was badmouthing the stupid Audio Junction commercial they run with Frank and found out that the owner sits right below me. He proceeded to make his whole family cheer for the commercial. When the Briggs commercial came on that blasphemes Phil Collins, he literally said to himself "Oh, this one is good".

Loudest game we've had in 2 yrs minus the ku and Texas game

Let's just call the board "Catsketball".
It has a unique meaning for everybody who's followed State hoops, but very few letters. (and Kentucky hasn't claimed it yet.)

"God, STOP BOOING."
"I'll never stop booing"
Conversation held between some idiot and myself midway through the game.
-
"Hey, stop giving our team a home court advantage!"
"eff OFF!"
-

That's incredible.

we need more people like yourself, dlew12.
the number of individuals defending our muted, tamed towniefuck crowd, like the rise of national socialism, is a testament to the power humans have to rationalize their role in virtually any abhorrent behavior.
-
The front row was pretty angry. Pretty rough ridin' pak'd too. A shirttuck townie sitting courtside left after his pleas to end the f bombs fell upon deaf ears. Not sure where he went.

This is nice to hear.

Sys, out of all the people I respect on this board (and trust me, there are plenty), you're at the top. Fatty is near the top too, fwiw.
-
Polite, well-mannered townies. Confirmed. My only trip to the OOD this season and I was embarrassed to be associated with those in attendance.
-
Stevesie and I boo'd like our lives depended on it.
-

so did like 80 other people. And 12,000 sat around scratching their old wrinkly balls.

There was quite a bit of boo'ing, but I agree, there wasn't enough.
There never is.
-
Awful.
-
I boo'd. I yelled. More people should do these things.
-
At least they don't need these anymore

They were still wearing them yesterday.
-
how anyone prefers why?att vision over reality is beyond me. (or at least I assume those headsets are linked to a radio)

Where do they sit?

Yes, that thing sticking out in front of their mouths is an FM antenna.

Front of 17.

Yes, that thing sticking out in front of their mouths is an FM antenna.
1) You can use those types of headsets in things other than communication
2) Do you actually think they are talking to each other?
- Who knows, maybe tuck men enjoy telling their women folk the finer points of emaw basketball. Maybe a sociologist or anthropologist can study that. Maybe we can plot the life cycle of tuck-dom through their costumes, customs, and methods of interaction.
-
2) Do you actually think they are talking to each other?
Yes.

well you sit closer to the front of 17 so I'll take your word for it.
Also this brings an entirely new level of tuckdom.
-
1. it is fantastic that our OOD was ever loud enough, often enough, for them to start bringing those.
2. it is amazing to me how they don't seem to GAF how that makes them look. comfy in their own Fake Sugar Dick (WARNING, NOT THE REAL SUGAR DICK!) skin
3. at this point, given our crowd's performance this season, I think they continue to wear them to mock us.
-
2) Do you actually think they are talking to each other?
Yes.
I say we dip into goEMAW's swelling slush fund ( :fatty:) and get a scanner to hear their convos. Would be pure gold.
