Apparently doesn't give a crap what happens with the ball.

ANYONE NOT NAMED WILL SPRADLING:
Apparently doesn't give a crap what happens with the ball.
-
wait, spradling did?
great postgame yelling at stan, at least.
-
Doc had four TOs, including on for a breakaway dunk

Angel's 2 turnovers at the end were crushing. No idea why Frank insisted on having Will off the ball whenever he was in the game with Angel.

I'm aware. Angel's carelessness was unbelievably costly at the end unfortunately. 2 of the worst turnovers I've ever seen.

ok, because you said you had no idea. so then i thought you were a rough ridin' Fake Sugar Dick (WARNING, NOT THE REAL SUGAR DICK!). then i explained it to you. but since you're aware, you're slightly less Fake Sugar Dick (WARNING, NOT THE REAL SUGAR DICK!). not not Fake Sugar Dick (WARNING, NOT THE REAL SUGAR DICK!) though, because you asked a question you knew the answer to.

Yeah those were really really really bad.

I'm aware Angel can create. I'm also aware he has a propensity to throw the ball away and turn into a dumbass in key situations at this point in his career. I'm aware that he had been beyond careless all night. That's why I questioned Frank. Try not being a cynical prick sometime.

maybe but when Will spots up and screams for the ball and instead of passing it to him, Angel dribbles around like a rough ridin' idiot until he throws it away, your argument loses something

Should have had my boy 'Tay in the game, who dominated the first 3 minutes of the damn game. #teamtay
-
If Angel gets that first one to the rim and JO DOBs we go nuts with #teamangel, I don't fault that as he was trying to create. The 2nd one was terrible though.
-
WHY DOES FRANK REFUSE TO PLAY TAY MORE, _FAN?!

Frank does lots of weird things.

First was more forgivable, but IMO still too risky with a lead under 2 minutes, especially against a long team like Baylor. Gotta think about time and situation.

So you're with me, in that this was not Frank's shining moment tonight? Thought he coached a pretty bad game to be honest.

Lessons for the future? I believed it before, but now it's really setting in. Frank really couldn't care less about the regular season. He only plays for the tornament.

Only possible explanation for leaving Angel in until the end to finish what he started. Which kinda flies in the face of what Frank said on 810 today about the goal each year being to play for the Big 12 title.

WHY DIDN'T TAY PLAY????????
Tay had a couple awful turnovers himself. The guards collectively really just shot themselves in the foot. Points off our turnovers is what did us in. We take care of the ball we win by double digits.

Every single guard had at least one TO aside from Jeremy Jones, so unless you're advocating playing Jones at the end, that's a moot point.
-
frank made a pretty good adjustment on how we guarded their ball screens after we gave up a bunch of easy buckets on pick and roll's.

Frank wasn't all bad, and I wouldn't necessarily say he was "out-coached", but he made his share of mistakes (or at least miscalculations) too.
-
Is it unusual for Angel to be making the inbounds pass on the baseline with 3 seconds left against a long team? By leaving Angel in after all the mistakes seems like a message being sent to him...this is going to be your team sink or swim! I guess it's better to find out now if he can handle the job.

Angel came out after the 2nd turnover/Acy dunk, but Frank put him back in for the last possession after Jones got the offensive board over Jamar.
-
I personally think Jamar got raped and shoved out of the way that play but that is jmo :dunno:

The possession before Acy shoved someone in a major way, I have no idea how they didn't see it.
The Jones/Jamar one looked clean on the board, but the foul call on Jamar seemed questionably.
-
Martavious fellators don't seem to realize that Martavious played 19 minutes after his amazing first five minutes.

Frank said during Wyatt's interview right after the game that Will was supposed to make the inbound pass, but that Will didn't do it, or something to that effect anyway. He was making the point that they couldn't get Will engaged in the game and used that as an example.
