Title: eff John Currie
Post by: waks on January 26, 2010, 07:39:45 PM
It's becoming more obvious that someone had words with Frank over his sideline demeanor/antics after the Texas game. Call me an idiot or whatever but it seems to be affecting our play. We're getting dicked on more calls because Frank isn't getting on the refs and we're playing shittier. Can someone please start a firejohncurrie website? Please?

I don't know about you all but I find this seriously unsettling. I can't imagine Frank would want to stay here if the AD is trying to tell him how to coach. Is Currie trying to get himself tarred and feathered by the EMAWrmy?

I guess I'll take your word for it. There is no denying though that Frank has not been the same raging lunatic on the sidelines these past two games that we've become accustomed and I do think it has something to do with all of the press he got. However, I guess it might not be as big of a deal as I think it would be. I guess we'll find out soon enough...

the jackass refs are watching frank very close because that's what jackass refs do but I agree on Currie.

Pop Quiz:  2 members of this board drunkenly accosted Mr. Currie about the succession plan when OB retires, or lack therof.  Name them!

Well he got a technical foul last game that kind of came back to bite us in the ass, so maybe he didn't want to risk it in a sure to be tight game :dunno:

Several times at the end of the game in the huddle Frank was the one telling Clemente to calm down. I've never seen that before.

Denis needs to be told flatout if he gets a T he rides the bench.
