Either from being there or watching on TV.
Went to the Insight.com Bowl as my first bowl. Ate at Alice Cooper's baseball/rock & roll-themed restaurant beforehand. Saw a guy, obviously a Diamondbacks fan riding high after their recent World Series victory over the Yankees, wearing a shirt that was totally risque. What did that shirt say? It said: "IT TAKES MORE THAN NINE YANKS TO BEAT OUR JOHNSON." Then after the terrible football game we got cheap tickets to the Suns game. Don't remember who they played because NBA is super boring, but I remember that the gorilla dunk off the mini-tramp was very exciting.
2002 Holiday Bowl: Got a picture in the stands with Andrew Shull after the game (he was in full pads). RumorMill's dad had a total man-crush on Shull so I got a heart frame from Wal-Mart and gave him the picture as a late Christmas present.
2003 Fiesta: Got to Phoenix early in the morning. Saw a dead dog in a garbage bag in an abandoned parking lot. Then we went to Denny's and there was a guy there in a swastika hat. :sdeek:

Arizona is probably the loseriest of all the states.

I learned that during the 2002 Holiday Bowl. :gocho:

I remember an ohio state fan screaming that ell had a fun night in prison right before tostitos in '04 and i got super offended and angry.
-
TrustTheDust brought a sign to the Fiesta Bowl that said "HEY ELL, I BONED HER TOO!"
I remember watching the Aloha Bowl at my grandpa's house on Christmas Day and it was a very stressful first half for a young Benny. I went outside during halftime and practiced some free throws to calm my nerves. :sdeek:

I got interviewed by a dallas news station in the stadium before the cotton bowl in '01. Talked about how weird it was to be that cold.

My cousins and I took our shirts off during that very cold game and wrote "KSU" across our chests.
-
'98 Alamo. Saw David "The Admiral" Robinson at a golf course called The Quarry and got my picture taken with him at the driving range. He was very tall and very friendly.
-
82 Independence Bowl:
Got hammered drinking Abita Beer (Some cheap crap made in the Bayou) and began to hallucinate. Next thing I remember we were somewhere in Texas headed back home. I was 12 at the time so maybe that had something to do with it.

02 Holiday was very frustrating. I wanted to crush them

Not a bowl game, but '03 Dr. Pepper at Camarohead. Walked into the stadium with my 10 year old son to a bunch of OU fans calling everyone in purple entering the stadium a pussy. Bummed when they ran for that 1st touchdown. Began to get better when the game was tied, and enjoyed sitting in the middle of a bunch of Land Grabber fans during the ongoing curb-stomp.

Similar.
2000 Champ game. Butt cold and windy. Sat 2 rows from top in the corner. rough ridin' cold. Stayed the whole time and had blocks of ice thrown at me in the parking lot. Saw a windshield broken by said thrown block of ice. Then saw thrower(loser OU fan) get cuffed. Did I mention it was rough ridin' cold?

Was in Georgia during the 1993 Copper Bowl, again watching at my grandpa's house. After we won I called my teacher (I was in elementary school) long-distance and improvised my own Mitch Holthaus "big big big" speech in celebration. We were both big cat fans so my teacher didn't mind me calling so late at night.
