Title: I-35 Report

Just drove down the purple Texas pipeline from Wichita and there were none, I repeat NO lane closures the entire way to Texas.  I did take 35W split at Denton, so not sure about I-35E to Dallas.

There will likely be some backups near downtown OKC for you nerds.  That will give you ample time to gaze at the weird new skyscraper near the Ford Center.  Its 2x taller than any other skyscraper in downtown OKC. 

Some things to look forward to on this spectacular drive (please note sarcasm):

1. Winstar Casino (no sarcasm)
2. New UNT Stadium...elites already saw it last fall, but now its finished.
3. Moore, OK...home of Toby Keith and monster tornadoes.
4. Frontier city O WOW!
5. Mulvane Casino (no poker room yet)
6. Cows
7. Hick a** cops
8. Riverwind Casino
9. Your moms casino

I like to fly my Bell 206LT Twin Ranger directly to the plant for routine maintenance and catch a ride in a towncar to my condo.  If I'm gounded (never prooven drink & fly incidents), I'll just catch a commercial flight into DFW.

The Devon Energy tower is a sight to behold. It rises above the OKC skyline like a huge middle finger.

When completed, it will be 850 feet and 50 floors. One Kansas City Place is 651 feet and 42 floors.
