Iraq won't have a real air force of its own for at least another year.

Then I pulled out a map of the Middle East and gave myself a little geography refresher.

Hmmmm . . .

Lots of wide open air space between 2 important Middle Eastern countries it appears.

I've been saying this for years... look at the geography of the region! Also, consider that we are in Afghanistan and Pakistan. Iran has been the target the whole damn time.
