Yes the most accurate ranking system is back. Chingon has forwarded to me his results from his supercomputer ranking system (ChiRP). It has been 83% against the spread this year. (Go back and check the predictions). While controversial it looks like ChiRP agreed with the BCS.

hmmm....interesting. Especially since Arkansas played S.C. this year and won 44 to 28. Interesting indeed.
And since this ranking system is proprietary to this particular site, I think I'll just wait and see. After all, that's the only way anyone will truly know just how much better Arkansas is vs. Kansas.

I was a hater too when I first joined the site. Sometimes it would pick the cats to lose and I would call BS. After a while I took a look and it is scary close at predicting the correct score.

something I found in basic statistics, intro to business law, and working in the insurance industry--all stats can be skewed to support whatever theory/team/results you want to prove or disprove.
So, I guess--we'll have to wait and see what happens. Won't we!? :cheers:

Wow, this isn't hard to understand. Huge upsets happen all the time. K-State has proven to be the far superior team all season long, and if somehow Arkansas manages to pull the upset it doesn't mean they are the better team. No one will claim ISU is better than OSU but they got lucky and beat them. This game is pretty much like that matchup in my mind.

Look, we don't like the ChiRP as much as you. We sprung a few upsets when the ChiRP had us losing. It felt great, and maybe you'll get to feel that way too if you pull the upset. But just take a look at the numbers and let us know what you disagree with. When you sit down and actually give it some thought, it's pretty tough to argue.

True, its the coaches that don't watch the games that have kept Arky above us in the BCS. Non-bias computers adore the cats. Less Miles basically kept OSU out of the Championship game by ranking us 17th, just enough to force OSU down .006 points.
