Student section was full ten minutes after the gates opened in the late 90s. Show up 2 hours early, or sit in the grass. The same was true for ICAT.
Expectations have changed. You can't laugh at KU for giving tickets away during a 2-10 season, then defend a student section that doesn't show up with a possible conference title on the line. I shake my fist at you while screaming "you damned kids!"

As a student at the game, I somewhat agree. Effin, my 4 roommates all pussed out and said it was too cold and rainy. So, I asked my neighbor if he wanted to go and so I took him. Seriously, I've never been soo mad at my fellow students. Who cares if it is cold? Go tailgate and get effed up then go into the game and be on #teamPurple #teamBeLoud.
My roommates then laughed at me for going to the game when I got back. I proceeded to tell them to eff off, we are 10-2.

When the chair backs have better attendance there is a rough ridin' problem. When section 28 is completely rough ridin' empty its a problem.
If we are going to act like a big time program, have a big time AD, like JC. And have a big time coach when LHCBS retires, our students need to drop this rough ridin' pussy, team cancer crap.

I do know at least one person that was ruined by the rain delay. Couldn't handle the extra hour and a half of paking, ended up passing out in the truck. Maybe this was a widespread problem?
