Just a bunch of cool animals. I could go on and on, but clearly the Pac 10 wanted Colorado for the Buffalos, and I for one cannot blame them. I mean, wow.

Pax 12 also has Huskies, which are pretty cool, and yeah, they have Cougars. At teh same time, they also have Condoms at USC and a stupid Christmas tree at Stanford, so ...

I know, right? And who is this dingo goon bashing the Stanford Tree? The tree is great, sounds like dingo doesn't know a great mascot when it hits him in the noggin. I can't believe I forgot about the Huskies. Also, don't forget about the Utes a murderous tribe of native savages. This conference has it all; awesome forest/ mountain creatures, supernatural beings/ weather phenomenon, brutals primitive savages, and old timey empire builders, YES PLEASE!

Mascots don't have to be scary to be awesome. A few years ago the Tree was kicked out of a game because the student in the suit was too drunk and belligerent. Can't talk crap on that. The same thing has happened with their band too.

I'm going to go against the grain and say our very own BigXII has a decently badass mascot conglomeration. Sure we took a hit when we lost the Buffaloes, but we also managed to rid ourselves of such :flush: mascots as Aggies, Tigers, and Cornhuskers in the process, so it's probably a win in the end. Just look at our current list... Longhorns, Red Raiders, Bears, Cyclones (try and forget their stupid cardinal with it), Jayhawks (forget the goofy bird they symbolize it with), our very own Wildwildquatz, and our newest additions Horned Frogs and Mountaineers. Just imagine the awesomeness our conference could be if we added Rutgers and ND thus picking up Scarlet Knights (I imagine bloody, immortal ghost warriors) and Fighting Irish ( :drink:)

kstate has the best mascot, kstate and ku are the best mascot pair, the big 12 has the best group of mascots.

Agree with joda and sys. Everyone forgets that "The Cyclones" is a pretty great mascot because they ruined it with the cardinal or whatever is in the middle of it.

Sys, I mean, come on. TSC doesn't mean you have to blindly believe that everything is great and gets progressively worse in that order. I think you are taking this way too far. I'm not saying I wouldn't root for the B12 mascots in a mascot fight , but they sure aren't any cooler than the PAC 12.

Not saying the B12 would win a mascot fight, but I'm pretty sure we'd hold our own. I mean, come on, with the addition of Mountaineers we now have 3 mascots who carry guns (4 if you include Sooners and 5 with the true Jayhawks). And a Cyclone's going to be pretty hard to beat by some animal (probably up to the Sun Devil to deal with it, don't know how that would work out). Sure the Horned Frogs are going to be pretty worthless in the fight (though still a cool mascot) and Longhorns aren't going to stand much of a chance against Cougars, Bruins, etc. but Wildcats and Bears can stand up against their counterparts. Especially if our NRA members are picking them off.
