can we not afford to turn on the tv lights?

Maybe your tv sucks?

you're an idiot.
maybe it's just me but it's not my television. the last game was normal/brighter, this one is dark.
-
agree, dark on my tv too.
-
I'm guessing it's the broadcast/cameras. I've been to all of the games so far and haven't noticed any difference in the stadium, but after watching the games on DVR I know what you're talking about and the last game did look much brighter.

It's the TV lights. They don't turn them on all the time for some reason. They use to leave them off until tip-off (Asbury years), now they just seem to leave them off.

i know it is. they have two sets of lights. for some reason they're choosing not to turn on the tv lights for some tv games. nice call guys!

Maybe turn them on for ESPN, but not Fox Sports Midwest? Like they're for HD.

you're right in that they turn them on for espn, but last night's game was HD.

The signal coming out of the truck or out of of FS headquarters was dark. It had nothing to do with lights. WTF?
-
WTF?
-
what exactly is HD, is it a mindset, a certain amount of pixelation, hz refresh rates, lighting, plasma, the distance of you from your tv in direct correlation to the size of the tv, the lighting in your house, I mean what is it!<??

Resolution!
-
hmmm interesting does this resolution come from the camera or is it in the eye of the beholder?

Resolution that the camera can record and the native resolution at the destination (TV).
