Title: Waters are officially calm
Post by: wetwillie on November 20, 2011, 11:47:07 AM
If the intent was to actually put the program at a level attractive to an elite coach to sustain KSU football the timing couldn't be better.

1.   2012-2013 cats squad on paper probably the best one in a decade.
2.   This year's success could be transferred into real recruiting successes for the next coach
3.   If cards fall into place Snyder goes out with a 2nd Big 12 Championship and potential BCS birth, satisfying his egotistical self image.

Looks like the perfect moment for RichRod to roll in, especially as a eff you to incoming WV and Huggs

Don't kid yourself.  Old Ballz and his huge ego are going nowhere.  We won't win 4 games next year.

calming the waters means makng boosters happy.  that was accomplished before this year.  and snyder's definitely not trying set the stage for some outsider.  not when sean obviously understands the people here and what it takes to run the program.

This team is Sean's when OBz retires.  And after OBz-2 (Sean) retires it will be Tate, and when OBz-3 (Tate) retires it will be his son Bill or Sean or Tate Jr taking over.  They'll change the name of the town to Snyderhattan by then.  It will be the only school in history that nepotism works.   ;)
