Still believe the BITB talking point that Mizzou didn't want this and the Gov and his dickbag cronies pushed this through.

This.  Also, they're losing commits already:
Allen, Texas, running back Jonathan Williams has pulled his commitment to Missouri, PowerMizzou.com's Pete Scantlebury reported Wednesday

He doesn't prefer one conference to the other.  He's just always cranky.

There are a few intriguing comments, especially this one from Keller, Texas, offensive lineman Simon Goines, who has reportedly backed off his commitment.

“Like, I’m excited, but I’m not going to be able to play in Texas … and I want my family to see me play,” Goines said. “Mizzou is coming off a bad year and it’s going to be hard moving to the SEC and being a contender. If we can’t win games in the Big 12, it won’t get better in the SEC. But I would like to get to play against Alabama and LSU one day.”

And there's this from Markus Golden, a linebacker at Hutchinson, Kan, Community College. Golden is a St. Louis native:

"I’ve been watching the Big 12 forever, being from St. Louis. I’ve been watching Mizzou, Texas, Oklahoma and Kansas, and I was really looking forward to playing against all those teams. That’s the only bummer about it, is not playing against teams like the Texas Longhorns and OU. But a lot of these games are going to be closer for my family, actually, coming out of St. Louis. I’m happy because it’s going to be the best competition and some of the best players in the nation come out of the SEC. Mostly I’m happy because it’s going to be better competition.”

Within the state border, Lee's Summit West offensive lineman Evan Boehm (@BIGboehmTHEORY) likely has the MU coaches reaching for the Maalox with his sudden indecision on Missouri. Boehm was not quoted in the Sporting News story but confirmed with PowerMizzou.com recently that he's considering other options besides the Tigers. Boehm committed to MU in June. On Sunday, he posted on Twitter: "Not answering any phone calls tweets texts questions anything on mu... I have a great oppertunity infront of me that I have to worry about."

My sense is some of this vacillation has more to do with Missouri's struggles on the field than the SEC move, but there's no doubt Pinkel's staff has to evaluate its recruiting game plan as far as investing so many resources in the state of Texas.  :fatty:

I bet he's fuming inside, time to start cultivating those relationships in the southeast Gary.

Mizzou, so stupid.

He's spent a considerable amount of time over the course of several years bitching about this conference and UT to anybody who would listen.  You reap what you sow.

Pinkel is pretty disingenuous complaining about SEC. He whined about longhorn network although I still haven't figured out how that affects Missourah.

He thought it gave UT an unfair recruiting advantage. lol, like when has MU ever beat UT for a Texas kid
