Good defense doesn't shank field goals and throw up lazy duck passes. ESPN= :blah:

What did you expect from a over-hyped game?

Those are the only two teams in the SEC like that.  They play unbelievable defense.  Defense that wins national championships.

How come Saban can't recruit an NFL qb?

Umm, no.
I'll explain. Good coach at a traditional power, prides itself on defense, can't seem to recruit one key position.

No one would argue that they have championship defenses, but those offenses are horrible.  How many championship games end 6-9?  Neither team is complete and there should be no more talk of a rematch.

The offenses only look horrible when they play each other.  Before today, they were the 11th and 12th ranked scoring offenses in the country.

How great is it to be LSU, though?  Nick Saban leaves them, so they UPGRADE.

Unfortunately, ESPN is already touting a rematch. Not that it means anything from these clowns, but Lou and Mark May (or maybe it was Rece) both put LSU and Bama in their top 2 which is rough ridin' bull crap. ESPN just wants to slobber over a rematch for the next two months and draw in ratings like they did tonight. Hate ESPN  :shakesfist:

Originally helped build college sports up to what it became, and is now everything that is wrong with it, imo.  I used to love espn, now can't stand it.  kind of like mtv.

Yeah, they were pretty fired up about drawing in ratings for their strongest competitor.  You could find a dumbass half thought out conspiracy in the method of boiling water.

Regardless the, "Game of the Century" was a win for ESPN. They got to jizz all over it for an entire month, now they're setting up the rematch in January, on ESPN. This isn't that hard to figure out, eff head.

"Game of the Century II". And this time they get twice as much time to do the jizzing.

IF OSU wins out, ESPN will be all over the contrasting styles, offense vs defense, etc.

doyel made a good point, imo:  bama lost at home, so why do they deserve another shot on a neutral field?

IDK, they're already making it sound like OSU doesn't have a "championship" caliber defense.

I think OSU would beat either one of those teams. Why have a rematch of one of the ugliest games of the year?

Boise State would give them a heck of a game, too. I think they both would roll Stanford, though.

I hate watching SEC games as much as anyone but I think those two are the 2 best teams in the country right now.  I'm not saying it's not possible for Okie Light or Stanford to beat them nor do I want to watch a rematch in the championship game too bad.  If I had a vote I'd probably put them at 1 and 2 now at this point.  Lot of football left to be played though.
