is it possible for klein to become a badass thrower next year? Or is he destined to be kind of sucky at throwing forev's?
I mean, you guys all know me and my philosophy (talent doesn't exist. only hard work). but damn, sometimes you wonder. He's such an amazing runner you can't let go.

ochocinco Chad Ochocinco
Tim Tebow is f_cking awesome, unbelievable work ethic n loves to compete RT @cdmcmahon: @ochocinco what do you think of Tim Tebow?
See how this plays out.

Improve yes; badass no

No

Is it possible for your hero, Jack Sock, to make it past the first round of next year's US Open? Or is he destined to be kind of sucky?
-
i've never played competitive football....unless reaching the quarterfinals in the chester e. peters flag league counts. :fatty:
-
he's going to be what he is. sams may be an amazing passer though.
-
posters in this thread pls id your comp football credentials pls, tia.

played for a chester e peters rec team that was ranked as high as "#3 all u" in the collegian flag football rankings. we then promptly got disqualified cause one guy on our team played on another team as well. also absolutely destroyed top ranked "black supermen" in the playoffs despite giving them the ball to start both halves. also once beat a team 96-0 when the ref called it with two plays left on the clock. :nono:
-
can he improve? Yes. Will it ever be to the magnitude that defenses have to respect his passing abilities? nope...not IMO.
I'm like you...I really don't want to let go of his running capabilties. That is most especially this year due to Hubert being the size of a peanut.
I watch RG3 and dream of Sams becoming something similar. Same size. Same tag coming out of high school. Plus, Klein could be a BA flex TE.
-

this X 10. we are all in for a treat when kyle klein steps out onto the field next year.

no way snyder plays klein over sams next year.

no way snyder plays klein over sams next year.
Yeah, he will. At least the first few games.

Yeah...no way in hell Snyder plays a RS frosh over a senior that's had as much success as Klein has this year...unless Sams is just THAT rough ridin' good.
Anybody heard any rumblings about him in practice? Is he as advertised. Surprisingly I haven't seen anything about him on here since the season started.
-
black andrew luck
-
Stan Weber, that's "THE STAN WEBER," was directly quoted saying that you will NOT be able to change Klein's throwing motion. NO. N. O.
-
guys-
don't be idiots. there's a reason snyds moved him to receiver for a year.

He's knows this...he's building his ammo.

Are you implying that Snyder is going to literally, not figuratively, run Klein into the ground this year and have no regard for Klein's health because we have Sams and Tuggle? Because, I believe that.

was also ranked top 10, also defeated black supermen. also defeated polk high. hmm, can't remember scoring 96 or if it was much more than that.

damn. i have to wonder if my team ever curbstomped your team's asses? deffy possible. deffy possible opposite day though too. i'll find out and let you know. getting dq'd was a terribly sad week in my life. we had "what it takes" to win the thing. oh well.
-
Played a lot of CYO football in KC.
He'll never throw well.

How do you think Snyder would have used Freeman?

that's a great question ira hayes. my belief is that LHC Bill Snyder would've played a future nfl first round drafted quarterback and current starting nfl quarterback as a quarterback. any more brainbusters?
-
OK, smartass. But Snyder would have made him run. Just like he makes Klein run.
And they would have won a lot more games.
And Freeman wouldn't have been drafted in the first round.
-
Freemaw would be leading the league in carries just like Klein dumbasses. Ira is with me on this one believing that Snyder is a terrible coach and doesn't know how to use talent.

Use talent to win, or use talent to get them drafted? We could have had a very effective offense with Freeman running a lot, and picking spots to hit deep balls when the safeties are drawn up by the run threat.
-
Rec players and some guy that apparently was pretty good at 8 man football. Sheesh.
-
so what is wrong with CK's mechanics? Arm strength is an obvious issue.

let's not get carried away here

3 yr letterwinner, KS 5A state champs, state runner-ups, playoffs other year. Various all league and area teams. Couple of low level college recruiting visits. Not much, but seems like there are a lot fewer people with any football creds on this board than I would have guessed.

-
eff. You got me. Theater club too. Was trying to live a double secret life on teh internetz.
-
it seems to me like a whole lot of people don't quite realize exactly how good the black supermen actually were.

no. i do have friends with insanely good memories about that stuff though. going to ask them if we ever played you. will report back.

i sat on the bench for garden city's state championship my junior year of high school. 6A, losers.
klein will never throw better than he currently does.
-
I was the backup QB my freshman year on a 2A team that went 1-8? Oh, hell I don't even remember the one win. All State Cross country soph-senior year.
But I can say for sure Klien can improve and maybe even be servicable as a thrower but never be a badass.

if we did play and i did end up with your name tatooed on my forehead the only conceivable reason for how it could have ended up there would be due to some kind of pregame bet misunderstanding whearas heretofore i mistakenly agreed to tatoo your name on my forehead if we beat your team by thirty. possible? i suppose. likely? no. not very.
-
He can improve.
*HM Chisolm-Trail league (that's 11 man, bitches)
-
All metro but blocking isnt the same as throwing so I probably am not an expert opinion :dunno:
-
No, he cannot improve.
*Most touchdown receptions (2) on 7th grade team
-
His pocket presence is decent though.*
*1st team all (KC) metro bowling 2006.
-
Gifted physically, behind the curve mentally.*
*99th percentile on Miller Analogies Test
-
He will never be as good as you would like for him to be.*
4th in 4A State doubles.
-
He could be a good longsnapper and a helluva youth minister.
-
He could be a good longsnapper and a helluva youth minister.
Oh man could you imagine being on his FCA camp football team you would dominate!!
-
I just don't see the arm strength, odd for someone 6'5" 230.
* I'm probably the most physically gifted poster here, however, I did not elect to take my talents to the football fields. 6'1" 190 (prototype NFL cornerback) would have had my pick of any D1 football program. Can also throw a softball really hard, so believe me when I say I know a little something about arm strength :gocho:
-

Confirmed. Would have been a great mentor for the youth, and a tight spiraler.

Pete has some pretty great religious youth camp counselor stories

i will dominate you in the goEMAW IRONMAN competition. raquet arms and all, son.
-
No one will be taking my goEMAW "The Gauntlet" title any time soon so I can give an opinion and it's that CK will always pass worse than Smargasso.
-
Carson improved from junior year; therefore see no reason Colin could not do likewise, badass

Damnit, I always thought I was the most physically gifted on this board.

favorite thing to order at el zarape?
-
No. Not at the level that will make him an average passer.
GWAL - Honorable Mention Linebacker, 3 year Letterman, tackled Lamar Chapman for a safety, destroyed Jeremy Crabtree (which is more than our LB's on the '98 team can say).
-
Throwing motion cannot change, but could get slightly better at passing. Low expectations. We're basically Air Force.
*nephew had undefeated season on 6th grade football team
*he broke his arm in the first game and was waterboy rest of season
