wtf tiny little mexican place is/was he referring to? i'm drawing a blank. tstar because they served chips and salsa? if so lo rough ridin' l because he just ate there again and didn't even know it.

"I’ve still got the memories of 2000, when the band came into this little Mexican place where we dined. Couldn’t have had more than 15 or so tables, tiny little place, and all of a sudden here comes 8-10 musicians, filling up the place with “Wabash Cannonball.”

Listen, I'm sure you fellas were too busy playing shuffle board and enjoying taco tuesday at bobby ts to really put some though into it but It's pretty damn concerning that the only mexican place in aggieville that any of you could think of was the defunct texas star.  I mean, wow.  a lot has changed in Manhattan, you should check it out if you get a chance (not on tuesday obv.).

While you idiots were waiting for a table at So Long on Saturday myself and Mrs Emo and her friends were enjoying round after round at Coco Bolo's.  And the carne asada was amazing.  Very tender.

What do you think of the new Taco Lucha joint?  Looks pretty cool, but more cramped than So Long (if possible).

also, an actual mexican restaurant looks like it is about ready to open in aggieville really soon. i'd say within the next week or two at the latest. can. not. wait.

Is there like a huge black spot in the front of a townies face where all aggieville and college type places are blocked from view so they avoid traffic and crowds?  Could be a good survival mechanism now that I think about it. Willies always has a spot for you and you don't have parking issues in case you need to be at your softball game at cico by 7.

Anyway, I knew we were in the right place when I saw a couple of long-time K-State people. Tim Fitzgerald, publisher of Powercat Illustrated and GoPowercat.com, and former KSU sports information director Ben Boyle both were in the Hibachi Hut with separate parties. And a contingent from OU came in; video whiz Brandon Meier told me he’d been twice before. So I knew I was in good hands.

It's clearly Bolo's.

And Bolo's is definitely a Mexican joint.  Citing the fact that it has other things on the menu as a counter-response is like saying BigD's isn't a burger place because it has a chicken sandwich on the menu.  GMAB, townie trash (not fatty).

Tijuana Trainwreck- This is actually really simple, take all the ingredients, layer them and throw them in a a high powered convection oven for 2 minutes. The key is the preperation of said ingredients. Chicken soaks in marinade for 2 days before cooking, cheese shredded freshly everyday in back, crap you cant really duplicate econically at home.

Drinking for Free- If you eaten at this place more than twice you have probably seen the owners bud and bob sitting at the bar drinking. This works in your favor as they never really care if their beer numbers are off since they drink so much. If you stop by for drinks after the dinner rush and sit at the bar you will pay for at most 1/2 of your drinks.

Another fun fact. At anytime while you are ordering food from Bolo's you should assume that 3/4 of the kitchen staff is stoned out of their minds.
