Title: Fatty fat fat making a dramatic statement:
Post by: fatty fat fat on November 01, 2011, 02:14:57 PM
"I am fatty fat fat. And if we lose by 25+ this saturday, i will be very disappointed in LCBS. If we truly are an improved, tough team, the game better be close heading into the 4th quarter."

No mulligan this week. We need to compete hard!

Don't expect to win, obviously, but the "Fire Snyder" airplane banner will return if we come out looking like KU again.

fire snyder banner is always dumb. KSU has had nearly 90+ seasons w/o snyder and NONE of them have come close to the season we are having now.

However, a 25+ loss means he isn't the genius the media loves to play up. He isn't perfect. And needs to improve our team. Also, a 25+ loss makes is seem we would be lucky to finish 8-4.

Careful. No way do we lose to football's version of Doc Sadler on Sr. Day.

OSU and OU are to of the 5 best teams in the country imo. We definitely aren't and it's on the road.

We have improved, as made clear by our very good record, but OSU is that good.  They completely shut down Baylor, for crying out loud.  If we get tossed by A&M, or UT, then it's worth getting upset about.

Are we truly a top 15 team? If we are, i think we should be competitive saturday. I'm not saying i will "start a FFF storm" (SAFFFS) if we get blown out, but i will temper my appreciation for this years team. An enjoyable team is one that can go on the road vs a great team, and give them a tough game.

By and large the youngsters need to get a little better this week

That being said we're gonna get our crap pushed in.  Beat aggy though and we're back on track for 10-2....that's what I'm gonna roll with for now anyways  :driving:

To be fair, Baylor shut down themselves. 3 drives inside the OSU 10 that resulted in no points and pretty much moved the ball all day on OSU (gained 622 yards). Granted, they didn't even slow down OSU's offense. They wouldn't have beaten OSU, but that easily could've been a much more competitive game if Baylor finishes a couple more drives in the first half.

Not surprising. Briles makes some questionable calls. Like vs aTm after they went down a couple scores he dials up a RG3 hail mary and it ends up being his second interception of the year. Went into desperation mode when they maybe could have come back if they just did their thing.

These threads never go well.

Remember when fatty asked everyone to sign before the 2008 Louisville game?

Is it OSU or aTm that has the shittier defense (not including KU)?  I keep getting conflicting info from the talking heads.

Surely this is a joke.  You really can't think there's the slightest possibility this is a top 15 team?  Snyder did an amazing job to sneak out wins against seven teams [several of which have better talent], but he has been caught up with.

squawk outed

Have you looked at the college football teams ranked 6-15?  We could beat (or lose to) any of them.  And 16-119 aren't pushing too hard to make a case for top 15.
