Not here yet, but I am eagerly anticipating it.

Plenty of feel-good moments in this round.  They are indeed 2 touchdowns better than last year.  Progress!

Jokes aside, I feel like "playing the game of football" is going to be mentioned a few times.

That and Gill will be talking us up as a huge game for them, despite us not being a real rival (according to Squawks).

"The Jayhawks seize momentum with a touchdown. But gross incompetence by the stadium clock operator allows Kansas State to kick a bull**** field goal going into halftime. Down--but not defeated--the Jayhawks race out of the tunnel to start the second half. But a Kansas State kickoff return fourteen seconds later stalls the comeback bid Coach Gill talke about via glib one-liners over and over and over in the locker room. In the end, the three points and momentum Kansas State gained from that stupid clock operator's f*** up were too much...to overcome."

ha. sieze momentum by pulling within two TDs. Hilarious.

I wish we would have thrown for the endzone with a second left instead of the field goal, personally. Probably would have scored.

they always show all of ku's scores back to back with the radio guys excited, but then they'll show one of our scores and then clips of sad ku players with sad music. uninformed gridiron watcher is thinking "man! ku lost another heartbreaker!"

• When asked about athletic director Sheahon Zenger's comments after the Kansas State game, Gill says that Zenger is the boss and has to say what he has to say. Gill says he came to KU to try to fix something, and that's what he's here to do. He still believes in his plan and doing things the right way.

My favorite part is that about 45 seconds after the halftime speech of Turner telling them to "execute" and "DO YOUR JOB!" Tyler Lockett is streaking down the sideline.

The production value is insane.  Time for the Board of Regents to make an executive decision and trade out the respective video teams   immediately.  Looking forward to Cat Gridiron next week and KU's new intro video "Proud of This House" (built with long jump pits, tenacity and a hill).

They really kicked our ass until they started playing the sad music.  I couldn't even tell why they were all sad.  Why were they sad?  :dunno:

It happened right after they scored the TD to even it up 21-21, but then the game was abruptly ended. I assume they were disappointed there was no OT?  :dunno: Why was there no OT?

The last 2 minutes of every Gridiron are very hard to watch.  The majority up the segment is high energy, high optimism.  Game coverage is exciting (despite the actual score).

But, then, reality sets in...

Camera pans to the blank, defeated looks on the players' faces.  They cue up the sad music.  And then the post-game locker room scene.  It's heart-breaking.  That poor program.  I almost have to stop watching.

Maybe instead of complaining about KU's Gridiron, you guys could invest in a K-State Gridiron that would accurately depict your dominance in this year's Sunflower Showdown.  I'm sure the ag department could pull some strings... hell, maybe they could even set up a media editing center in a corner of one of the sheep pens.

K-State has pretty decent production capabilities, hell they can stream sporting events in HD, and the weekly "motivational" videos for the team are pretty good production wise . . . problem is, Snyder doesn't want anybody with a camera around.

I suppose as a fan, if I had a choice of having a decent team but no weekly video production like ku's, or having a team that sucked balls like ku with a nice weekly video production . . . I reckon I'd take the decent team. and no weekly propaganda film.

We don't have any out-of-work film maker alums. Ours are all working for big shot studios.  :frown:

LOL... our "out of work film maker alum" just won an Emmy.  I guess K-State can hang their hat on that fat gay guy from Modern Family, though.

regional emmy

"Best Editing - Amateur Sports Film Short, Northeast Kansas Area"

Suck it Hy-Vee Chiefs Insider.

Chiefs insider is produced in the Northwest Missouri Area. The Gridiron was up against local high school AV department productions and kicked their asses.

Maybe we could set up a media center on the Quidditch Fields. Oh wait, we don't have any of those...

We could broadcast it on KStateHd.TV, though.  Instead of youtube..

With the treatment by racist sqwawk fans, Turner has every right to go on an all-night bender, plowing thru a school crosswalk in his way to home or office in the morning. But he won't because he's better than that and won't embarrass the KU fans that way. But they still won't give him the time he needs to turn that sick program around.

What an absolutely beautiful production. TG is very handsome. What a couple of sloppy, undisciplined football teams. LOL at the racist KU fans pretending to support TG's team. RG3=most overrated player of the 2011 CFB season=FB equivalent of LaceDarius Dunn.

If they do fire Gill this season, I hope Penn State Hires him.   Would be great to see a genuinely good person like Gill resurrect a slop bucket of a program that isn't racist.   I'll be a fan of whatever school that ends up hiring him.

Honestly, would not shock me if Gill did with the talent he could get there (not that the racist pedophiles at OSU would hire him after the racist pedophiles at KU fired him)
