Kansas State is actually the first half's surprise team, but I'll go with them here. LHC Bill Snyder is leading a second revival in the Little Apple. K-State won't remain unbeaten -- after Kansas comes Oklahoma and Oklahoma State. But don't be surprised if Snyder's bunch pulls a big upset, and then keeps rolling.

I knew there was a possiblity of starting 7-0, but I would have put it at about 5%. I also knew there was a possbility of starting 7-0 and ending up 7-5 :sdeek:

A&M at home...bad matchup for us but, again, lets make them earn it..They almost lost to Tech..and gave up more offense than we did on the same track meet.
Let this thing unfold before everyone says..."well, 8-4 aint bad."

A&M will probably be just like the Baylor game. If we are clutch in the 2nd half (and we have been so far), we can win. A&M hates second halves.

My predicto was 8-4 or 9-3, but I thought we'd lose either the Miami game or the Baylor game. JMP

I bet Staples, McCartney, Trocchi and Rubin also predicted K-State to finish 8th or 9th in the Big 12 and win five games or less. Who cares what they think, every single one of our preseason critics is already wrong :flush:
