Don't think it took that long for our team to get home from Lubbock.  Maybe that just speaks to the remoteness of Lawrence.

Interestingly, have not heard an objection from the Sooners as to playing Texas Tech at 7 this weekend or Iowa State at 7 in a few weeks, both games in Norman.

My initial thought was because there are already 2 conference games being played at 6PM.  The conference and ESPN didn't want another game competing against the LHN.  The text seems like bullshit to me.  OU has played road night games for years including at Florida State earlier this season.
