Bowling in the student union. Might be able to sneak beers to your brother, and there won't be any cool kids there so you can avoid having your girlfriend stolen by someone in her generation.

So Long Saloon has great burgers.  Hibachi Hut is very good too for some authentic cajun food.  You guys should definitely walk around Aggieville and hit a few places/bars that look interesting to you and then get over to the stadium and walk around the tailgates until you find some gracious EMAW hosts- (*Pro TiP* - it won't take long!!)

Welcome to MHK!!!

A. I'm not that old!
B. she's out of college now, thank you very much.

I'm looking for more touristy stuff and restaurants. The brother would love to have beer snuck to him so the bowling alley might be an idea.

And she's not going anywhere near you guys! I'm keeping her to myself. lol

The Konza Prairie would be a good place to see. Great views of the Flint Hills where you can tell your girlfriend stories of how the white man forged their way west when you were growing up.

The world famous Westboro Baptist Church in Topeka is must see. In fact, everything about Top-town is groovy -- as the kids say. East Topeka on Sixth Street, visit any of the Mexican cafes or bars. You'll have the time of your life.

Not much touristy type stuff in Manhattan. I'd recommend driving by NBAF and make sure you see the construction of the new practice facility. Other than that just hang out in Aggieville and get smashed.

Sounds like aggieville is the consensus. We all like to find little hole in the wall places to eat, drinking good beer is a plus. That accounts for all of us. We like history but we like the touristy stuff usually.  Yes I'll have a car.

send your bro to the Lou in aggieville, they allow underage drinking there and it is a hole in the wall place.  then you stay in the hotel room and bang the hell out of your 22 year old gf... or head down to the tri delt house and pick up a couple more girls for a lot of fun... that's what i would do anyway.

really just go to aggieville. good places to eat there are coco bolos, so long saloon, hibachi hut and rockabelly deli. they all have online menus and are all within two blocks of each other. hole in the wall/dive bars that you should have at least a drink at are auntie maes, rockabelly deli, and aggie lounge.

get god awful drunk, give your brother the slip, and then eat pussey like there's no tomorrow.
then repeat the process tomorrow
What do you usually eat pussy with besides tongue and cheek... whipped cream, ice cream and scream, or 10/30 motor oil?  :fatty:

chocolate pudding with a nice oreo crumble mixed in.

Sounds tasty, but does the taint add any flavor to this combo?

my gf's taint has a different taste, almost a good taste its really quite remarkable. so the answer is yes to hers, however ive yet to eat another pussey with this topping. any takers?

hey dumbasses-

take it to the dumbass board. thanks.

btw, we don't have a dumbass board so you'll have to go to a different place. google maybe?  :dunno:

If you will be traveling between Topeka and Manhattan on Friday, you must use Hwy 24 (not I-70) and you must stop at the Kreem Kup in Wamego.  You also must stop at the Green Chicken near St. George then back to The Little Grill near Tuttle Creek Dam.  Then a stop at Vista after you get back on Hwy 24.  After that, Aggieville, and try to puke all over the bathroom at Pita Pit (I hate that place).  Pick up a switchblade at the Dara's convenience store around the corner and head to Silverado's (is that place still called Silverados?).  You will need this if your gf is hot.  When you wake up in the bed of a 1987 Chevy S-10 in the parking lot of Mustang's in Junction City and said gf complains of soreness, don't ask questions and head east.   Roll down your windows and do not stop until you hear the roars of a crowd near the intersection of Vattier St and Mid-Campus Drive.  Follow the cheers and gutteral roars and you will be on the campus of Kansas State University, facing Anderson Hall and College Gameday built by the Home Depot.  Follow the crowd past some limestone buildings and a stinky vet clinic thing and you will find tailgates serving all kinds of meats, including meatgoat on a stick and my personal favorite, Deep fried Jalapeno MeatGoat.  Wash it down with an ice cold Keystone Light, but do not take it if the giver is wearing a backpack, for he is an undercover cop.  Once inside BSFS, cheer for the adorable purple team.  After the game, head back past Anderson Hall and into Aggieville.  You will get a post-game sandwich at RockaBelly, wash it down at Porter's next door, buy a shirt at Varney's that already has the final score of that day's game on it, OU - 2, KSU 66, stop at Rusty's (remember the switchblade?), across the street to O'Malley's where you will chug 6 Belfast Bombers, back across the street to Kite's, and then down to City Park where I will be waiting in a purple van with 12 antennas near the Paul Bunyan statue.  Wake up, head south on KS-177, do not pass go, and never speak of what happened that weekend ever again for as long as you shall live.  I will return your brother by the end of the next moon cycle.  Good day.

The Kansas State University football team, on the other hand, is pretty decent at football this year which is why everyone is so excited.

really just go to aggieville. good places to eat there are coco bolos, so long saloon, hibachi hut and rockabelly deli. they all have online menus and are all within two blocks of each other. hole in the wall/dive bars that you should have at least a drink at are auntie maes, rockabelly deli, and aggie lounge.

Before you have a pickled egg, defeat the hot mama challenge and get your name on the wall!

:ohno: One thing I know; I'm not messing with anyone who can eat that much food and drink like a sponge.  RightMeow watchout, Whatitis1 could be a large badass and force you to eat his girlfriend's taint.  And I'm talking about being forced to do this pleasurable act without chocolate pudding and Oreo cookie crumbs!  Also all that booze and food may cause gas... not that there's anything wrong with that.  :ohno:

:flush: <---everything above. all of it.
What do you suggest?  Do we open our arms and welcome this thinly veiled OKie fan, or just help him out the same way we would welcome any OKie fan?   :dunno:
Your welcome.  :gocho:

I went to google maps and it still shows up as a restaurant on 17th and yuma (on earth its a flattened pad).  In fact, that ghetto grocery that was next to it still shows up on google earth.  I'm 99% sure there's a hotel there now.

I'm with ya jt.  I graduated in '01 and just found out it closed last year. :frown:  It burned down IIRC.  Anyway, lots of greasy burgers that cured lots of hangovers at that place while I was in school.  :drink:

My buddy that graduated in '02 and moved out of state came back to town for the Baylor game and wanted to hit it up on Sunday morning before we drove back home.  I had to break the news to him. He didn't take it very well.

It did have a fire when I was in school there and closed for a period of time.  It was there at some point in time in the 00's.  Haven't seen anyone confirm or deny it's a hotel now.

Why don't you go down to that corner and snap some pictures for us, then head over to the register of deeds tomorrow and settle this.

oh god would i. the problem is that it takes both of the administrators (chingon and saul) to simultaneously "turn the key" in order to make it happen and saul is both a moderator and an admin and he is one of the four that took the night off so we're pretty much mumped. i appreciate it though. according to my contract i can log out at midnight. can't come soon enough.

since i have to be here for another half an hour...here are a couple of love stories-

1) flood of '93. it reached all the way out there. the upstairs was the bar and nudie stuff and downstairs was movies and seafood. yeah seafood. some friends and i were paid multiple crisp twenty dollar bills to help move some of the seafood from there to his house over in warner pk.

2) graduated highschool from mhs and love was a close friend of a friend. anyway, his gift to us was to let us come in and drink as much as we wanted and pay the "dancers" to dance for us and only us. not sure if it was worth it. free beer for an 18 yr old though.

3) not sure when love got cancer or whatever and the place closed down. early 2000's sounds about right. never went past the highschool night referred to above.

The pig just closed down (not burned). I liked it because you could always get in there an get a drink even when everywhere else was packed. Maybe thats a clue to why they closed. Also they served minors without even blinking.

I really love them for having the Basket of Bacon, which was just a basket of fried bacon with a chipotle mayo dipping sauce. Incredible.

OT: Suppose there are any father/son members on here that don't know it?
Mods, canidate for The Word?

Yes, KK area is now a hotel and a mini strip mall. That gas station is still there though.

Also, if the OU guy wants a hole in the wall away from aggieville. Finn's isn't too far away, and to be honest, I loved that place when I was in MHK.

I didn't realize how old all of you people are.

Egotistical I know, but when I was typing that phrase, I wondered if it would get some love. If my dad posted on here, I think I'd be very embarrassed, however he is very knowledgeable, but also very dad.

Anyway, the age thing, I just know who one of the admin/founder/mods (I dunno his title) is, and I assumed everyone else was around his/my age.
