They may be able to watch these and still won due to the coaching gap. But hope springs eternal. maybe Snyder doesn't like us because he interviewed when we hired mason and passed on Snyder.

honorable mention

LOL! I'm pretty sure Snyder won't be looking past the hawks. He treats the sunflower showdown like it's the super bowl.

They want to beat us so bad.

I gotta say they may be BITB at talking points. This whole KSU vs KU talent thing is pretty riveting.

details because I've never heard that.

also I really think goEMAW is to the phog as Colbert Report is to conservatism.  I really don't think they get all the running jokes here.  Hammering the super bowl talking point for years and now they are trying to use it against us is a good example.

KU hired Mason instead of Snyder?  Retards.

Yea, then Snyder took over at K-State just so he could beat KU 11 times in a row

Almost as tragic as passing on tre walker, who really was dying for a KU offer that never came...and that he didn't deserve.

details because I've never heard that.

he was begging for the job when kruger left, whoever the a.d. was at the time basically refused to even interview him, and was apparently even a little insulting about how well fball experience would translate onto a bball court.

i don't have to detail the aftermath of that little grudge match.

Hahaha no.

Tre grew up in Junction City before moving to Olathe. His dad is an Army guy, he likes to hunt and fish and has been a fan of K-State since before I knew him which was about 8 years ago.

Adonis and Victor who are a year younger than Tre and went to KU were never really KU fans either, it was just the only d1 school that gave Adonis an offer and the only BCS offer Vic got. They would probably transfer if they had the chance, Gill is terrible in player development and Adonis's speed would be nothing short of uncontrollable with some good coaching.

Adonis Walker would instantly become my favorite player due to his name alone.

The D showed plenty of life against what may be the best team in the country yesterday, so there's no reason why they can't shut down the kitties.

As long as the D doesnt get mauled which I dont think KSU has the ability to do, we will be in the game thus a great crowd and we will see what happens.

I don't think allowing 24 points at half time is the D showing life. I guess they're just happy it wasn't 35 in a quarter.

That great crowd will be half KSU.

OU had over 600 yards and 40 points.

That's a shudown D if I've ever seen one...

and it takes real effing talent for your offense to have 6 net yards in a half of football. Regardless of opponent. I thought that was their strength.  :dunno:

"Playing one of the top teams in the nation was motivation for our defense to go out there and show that last week wasn't our real defense," Kansas cornerback Tyler Patmon said.

It's good to know their real defense only gives up 47 points, 610 yards, and 7 yards per play.

OU had the worst playcalling I've seen them run in years.   KU was gifted 610 yards.

The few roaches that stick around during the nuclear fallout that is ku football are quite optimistic I have to give them credit.  Its almost like a flip is switched each week to make them forget just how awful the team they just watched really is.

No I heard the same thing.  This is back when Steve Miller was A.D. and he was worried -- probably with good reason -- that he wouldn't be able to control things if one coach headed up both sports.

It used to be pretty common actually.  Little-known fact: old KSU coach Guy Lowman has the best winning % in KSU basketball history, AND he won a conference championship in football back in the old KCAC.

Their defense did look pretty good in the red zone against OU, though. It's hard to hold anybody when your offense generates less than 10 yards in the third quarter.

True enough, but Guy Lowmans don't grow on trees.  We were awfully blessed to have him.  One a million.

Well, your red zone offense will look horrible when the entire gameplan is to throw a crap ton of bubble screens.
