Title: cats at half
Post by: catzacker on October 15, 2011, 08:02:34 PM
Arthur is a step slow and can't get there - the long runs fall almost entirely on his shoulders

Hartman has the "Marcus I'm a Complete Pussy Watts Award" all wrapped up half way through the season.

Secondary is garbage aside from the gift wrapped INT TD.

Cosh is still Cosh.  Sit back in zone for nearly every damn play, especially in hurry up...wtf do you expect?

p.s. The offense is an abortion.  We could have had Gameday.

don't disagree w/ all of the defense trashing, but they probably would've looked a lot better if the o could've like had a first down here or there or something. they were on the field way, way, way too much.

Also, we're losing by a point.  Your little hissy fit may be a bit premature.  (Much like you as a baby.)

i would imagine Tre could slide over and Lamur move to Tre's spot?  i dunno.  KU's running attack will put pressure on Arthurs position.

KU would have a legitimate shot of beating us with no Arthur Brown. I think he as to play until we are up 2 scores.

Is Arthur going to be playing D for KU in this hypothetical situation?  Cause KU's run defense is rough ridin' pathetic and we're going to straight up gouge them on the ground.

They don't look so bad tonight. Our team hasn't shown a capability of blowing anybody out to this point. Not playing our best players is just not a good idea.

He could barely move out there tonight.  His speed is what makes him good.

Yeah, but I really don't want to get into a rough ridin' track meet with the worst team in the conference.

Probably not wise to choose to believe one half of football over 5 other games.  KU's defense is atrocious, like worst in the country bad.  We did 59-7 them last year...  Still, I'm not saying we're going to blow them out.  Their O is good but their D can't stop our run game.  It'll be a comfortable win.  It's not like their offense is better than Tech's or Baylors and their D is much worse than both.

The difference between KU and some of the teams we've already played is KU is going to run us off the field with their speed. I say that if Arthur hasn't improved by next saturday we should suite him up, but only use him sparingly and pull him if we build a big lead.

If you're talking to me, I'm not taking anything from the KU game tonight.  They're offense isn't bad at all and Arthur's a HUGE part of our defensive success.  We'll hang half hundy on them easily no matter what, but I'd just as soon not let them get 30 or so on us...which they may be capable of sans Arthur.
