We're just so blessed....

To be blunt, the atmosphere at LHC Bill Snyder Family Stadium is without a doubt one of the most underappreciated in college football. While it can’t come close to matching the likes of LSU’s Tiger Stadium or Michigan’s Big House in sheer numbers, it comes close in participation, excitement, and – for lack of a better term – blood thirst. K-State’s, surely, is an atmosphere that should not be missed.

The most impressive and endearing aspect of Kansas State’s fan base, though, is the unity they display throughout football Saturdays. If you’re wearing purple, you’re family, whether you’re walking the street, lunching in Aggieville, or tossing a football while tailgating. Football games are a family reunion for the KSU faithful, but one that’s 50,000 strong and rife with hospitality and humility. In the Big XII, there’s nothing else like it.

Whether a KSU alum, a fan of the opposing team, or simply a college football fanatic, taking in a game at LHC Bill Snyder Family Stadium will be an undoubtedly positive experience. The raucous, supremely involved crowd and overall atmosphere in Manhattan makes for one of the most unique and rewarding gamedays in the midwest. Combine that with a very modest ticket price of $35 for a reserved seat (Big XII; $20 non-conference), and you leave Wildcat country making out like a bandit.

 :surprised:

He rated us nearly a full star ahead of Faurot Field and a tenth of a point behind the gem that is Kauffman Stadium, the host of the 2012 MLB All-Star game.

I'm thinking we should push for the Pro Bowl to get moved from Hawaii to Manhattan.

Talked a crapton about how much he loves Aggieville. I'm thinking squawk that just drank through the entire game and had a bartender write the post for him. Will take.

I smiled a lot while reading that.  Feels good.

Also, he is right in terms of the concessions.  I don't go to many roadies but I was shocked at how much more CU's Folsom Field had to offer for concessions.

"blood thirst"

For those of you still in college, that's something you should proudly put on your resume under "other interests".  Great conversation starter at the interview and also a positive quality for an employee.

after watching the baylor aTm game I'm more impressed with our crowd. it just sounds like they're saying "meeeeeeeehhhhhhh" the whole time. maybe it's just the broadcast, but it doesn't seem very loud

Their crowds always have a bizzarre "tone."  Very noisy, just sounds odd.

If you've been to any other cfb games you shouldn't be surprised by this review.

Also I'd take BSFS over Jack Trice any day (been to 3 games there). Faurot is a joke because Mizzou fans are in fact a joke. KU is even worse. Stillwater is comparable to Manhattan, pretty similar really.

what sound would you make if you were grabbing your nuts while the other team is on offense?
