Title: Hubbert
Post by: theymightbegiants on October 08, 2011, 03:09:03 PM
between the tackles is absolutely terrible. We need dr. schemey to come out for this game because right now hubs can't do anything.

I keep seeing Demarcus Robinson on the sideline. I wish Snyder would give him a chance.

Precisely...who do these tucks want running the ball?!?  Logan Dold?  :opcat:

It's not the tucks, the tucks love the LT aspect of Hubert.   It's the "Others."  They are just insanely butthurt over the whole Bryce sucks and is a pussy thing.  Also, OB'z calm waters are absolutely infuriating them.

Meh.  I misread a score.  Who gives a crap.  At least I'm a man and didn't bother trying to delete the post.

I seriously cannot deny the fact that I get a big eff'in purple boner at the thought of B. Brown ripping off huge yardage, but I will admit, Hubert is starting to grow on me. He makes some pretty good reads and  if Wilson could pick up an eff'in block...... ever, then Huberts "loss of yard" runs would drop big time and his numbers would be impressive.

We would be a lot better with a good RB. Hubert is very average. Every D1 team in the country has at least 1 back exactly like hubert.

What's Hubby avg'ing?  Isn't is like around 5?  For a dude that isn't exactly a homerun threat, his avg is pretty solid.  Dude isn't Darren Sproles, he doesn't make people miss like that.  Most of his loss of yardage plays aren't due to his poor play, they're due to our offense and him getting tackled right after taking the handoff.

he looked like a completely diff player in the 2nd half

he was much more assertive.  didn't dance as much looking for a big hole, he went out and found them.

Seriously though, Wilson was eff'in horrible tonight he couldn't maintain a block.....  :curse:

Don't agree that Hubert is a dime a dozen but I do think that Snyd's offense is going to produce decent yards at the RB position, regardless of elite talent.  Elite talent in his offense does spectacular things, decent talent does what Hubert has so far.  I like Hubert but I won't try to pret2nd that he is a great back.  Dude is solid though.

I'm OK with Hubert. Would like to see more talent out there, but whatevs. The fact we're winning with Klein and Hubert is awesomely ridiculous, imo.

Bryce will always be Arthur's little bro.  They one that is supposed to be so badass but ends up just talking about how badass he was while AB is in the NFL.
