uk's record in "looking ahead" games (defined as the two games prior to the matchups) vs KSU and misery since the 02-03 season.

vs. KSU: 26-9 (.742), including 1-3 in the last 4 single games immediately prior to playing KSU.

vs mizzou: 30-5 (.857)--one game to be added later this week.

The squawks overall winning percentage in that time is .825.  Who do they look ahead to when playing? The stats say not their "rivals."
