what a shameful joke.
Undefeated and ranked...
if there is anyone who was "cool" by boycotting KSU football because of Dr. OB Schemedoctor...you're free to buy a ticket for this one. We won't give you any crap about it on Gameday.
-
Snyder supporters are so smug now. I guess you've earned it.

we'll lose plenty this year with OB....just hoping everyone hops on the bandwagon while its on cruise.
-
I bought tickets to this one during the summer months.
-
mods, please merge with whatever thread we had that long discussion on whether we should or shouldn't add seats to the stadium. tia
-
all of you supposed combo fans can go to hell. what a joke of a fanbase.
-
expensive! :surprised:
-
At least you didn't have less than 40,000 show up for Homecoming Weekend against one of the most beatable teams on the schedule.
:bawl:
-
Speaking of sold I need a free ticket for a man who is traveling all the way from France just to see the Scheme Doctor

'grats beems
-
So we can't even sell out at 50,000 but there are rumblings of expansion to 55,000-60,000?
-
Those rumblings are from dumb people. The most the stadium is going to "expand" is by maybe a couple of thousand.
Currie said there is about 2000 tickets left.
-
We never sell out until about 48 hours until kick off.
-
Because we suck balls. SCHEME DOCTOR FAMILY OPERATING ROOM BETTER BE FULL THIS SATURDAY, GODDAMMIT!
-
expensive! :surprised:
this.
$50 to sit in the upper deck? No thanks, I'll sit on my awesome couch and watch it on my 60" led.
-
Don't understand why they wouldn't do the $35 dollar tickets for the endzone view level tickets for this game. It's okay to keep the middle view level at $50, but keep the endzone view level sections at $35.
-

if we expanded, then charged like $25-$30 a ticket for confy games, we could probably sell out a 55-57K stadium. i don't know if 60k is feasible right now, even with cheap tickets. But, if the admin thinks that it will be likely in the future, i think we should go for it now.

Im pretty sure we had 49500 against Baylor. Thats 500 off of capacity and we're screwing ourselves with that high deck above the student section. no one wants to sit there
-
The section we never should've built is the extra section to the north of the students' section. It's Kyle Field-y how bad those seats are. The bottom right corner is pretty much blocked by the End Zone Fun Zone.
Terrible. Hopefully it will be rounded off in Phase 3? :crossfingers:

north endzone is ok due to the chill atmosphere (cannot explain it, you must experience - king winters can help me out here)
the very end of the student section is a complete disaster. i'd rather watch the game in a 2003 volvo s40. :sdeek:

no just saying that that screws us in terms of "selling out"
we would sell out easily without those.
and we sold out the first two so idk why everyones freaking

seems easier than tearing down the entire east side. plus it's closer to aggieville and the stadium was really loud back when i was in school and they still played fball games there. idk. :dunno:

no one ever suggested tearing down the east side. i just said that they are crappy seats that few people wanna pay to watch a game from.

Oh man, can you imagine going to Aggieville at halftime? You'd go to RAB, have a sandwich and a few brews, then make it back with 5 minutes to spare before the 2nd half started. Can you copy/paste your e-mail to Currie tomorrow so I can send him one too?

we used to do exactly that same thing back when they used to play games there. although sometimes rab would be too crowded and we half to walk over bww or so long.

A goEMAW.com campaign has never failed. This one won't be the first.

so I was thinking, instead of tearing down the upper deck, do you think it would be possible to just move it? like, take the pressbox off, get some giant ass cranes in there, remove a few bolts and just swing it over to the west side. then build a new press box on the east side. EMAW4Life, is this what you're thinking too?

We never sell out until about 48 hours until kick off.
we never seem to have more than 2000 tickets remaining either
-
I can't believe how many assholes have pointed out that the seats near midfield are better than the ones in the endzone.
-
The seats above the student section really aren't that bad. The end zone seats and seats to the north of the student section are worse.
eff I love the south end zone.

The argument that we can expand is that we sell out against crap teams, when tickets are like $10. If we can expand, we absolutely should. I just don't think we can,
if we expanded, then charged like $25-$30 a ticket for confy games, we could probably sell out a 55-57K stadium. i don't know if 60k is feasible right now, even with cheap tickets. But, if the admin thinks that it will be likely in the future, i think we should go for it now.
Lowering the ticket prices to "fund" an expansion goes against the conventional wisdom [and, the laws of economics]. Sort of like the MBA genius who had the brilliant marketing strategy of building a Mercedes and selling it for $12,000. BRILLIANT!

For the record, I do agree with you, but you can look at it from a different perspective. Like sell a butt ton of season tickets for $100, pack a 60-65k stadium (if possible), over time this would build more die-hards, increase recruiting prowess, get better teams, have increased hostile environment, get more wins, raise ticket prices.
I won't say the other angle is valid, it would be a huge gamble, but not necessarily wrong.

Ticket sales aren't funding the bball practice facility we're building. There's a tipping point where it becomes feasible to fund a portion of expansion based on future ticket sales from seats created by the expansion, but only if your fundraising is sufficient on the front end. You also have to consider future revenue from suites and club level into this. Those are high dollar, high revenue seats and can, if you will, "Subsidize" lower priced seating areas while still generating revenue.

right, I agree its not a good idea to expand on the hope we could sell out with cheaper tickets. although I do wish we had a 3 tier pricing system. with the most expensive tickets being lower bowl, middle price upper deck center, and lowest price being upper deck corners. with the hope being the cheapest tickets are never over $20

if we can't sellout a game when we're ranked 20th, against a fairly local team, the AD needs to look at ticket pricing.

any update, will it sellout? or just be close like the baylor game?

Those crap seats in the upper corners of the top deck should be like $5 every game.

this.

Surely we can get someone like Dara's Fast Lane to sponsor the cheap seats, like the Hyvee seats at the Royals games.
Maybe the "Tractor Supply Company Value Seats," or the "Fontanelle Hybrid Top Crop Score Seats" or something? :dunno:
-
Are the upper deck corner seats really that bad?
Seems like they'd be way better than NEZ or lower SEZ

yeah. they are terrible. i wouldn't have bothered even building the bathrooms honestly. use that money for something else and then just make that entire section like twenty bucks a ticket or something and call it good. horrible seats.

There's almost nowhere inside BSFS that I like watching a game from. Mainly b/c of the people.
