Hi Brent.
-
Well, let's not get too ahead of ourselves here.
I rough ridin' hate Missouri :curse:
-
Mizzou's rushing D is pretty solid. I don't love our chances against them.

We were ahead of ourselves after miami. If you want to play this win down, you can go hang out in the corner by yourself.

This win was great, but there are no easy wins in the big 12 this year.

That is exactly my point. No one thought we would beat miami. The entire country sucked off RG3. Not sayin we will win 10 games or anything, I'm just saying we just surpassed every expectation we had going into this year and thats somethin to be excited about. Enjoy the wins bro, that's why we follow this crap.

This. I don't think we'll win.
-
Based on everything I've seen we match up horribly against MU.
Our weird ass play calling, and half a step above anemic passing game is going to have to perform a whole lot better if K-state is going to beat MU.

KU's still in the Big 12, right?

I agree for the most part, but I also don't think Missouri is any better than Baylor. We certainly can't get only 6 points off of 3 TOs and settle for FGs again.
-
2009 mizzou nightmares.
-
Good god, mizzou will tear us apart.
-
We have to actually account for the QB run game vs MU. We didn't necessarily have to against Baylor. And MU actually makes an effort to run the ball, which Baylor really didn't. that said, Klein worked over MU last year (and MU had a better defense). Hopefully we find different ways to run the ball and stick to what is working rather than absurdly dropping klein back for multiple series in a row.
-
Also, will we win at Tech?

I assume he means that Baylor almost never has set run plays for RG3. Mizzou does run set plays for Franklin.
However, I'm much more worried about our O matching up against their D more than the other way around. I could easily see them winning a super low scoring game in high teens or low twenties.

eff yes. Book it.

Okay, that makes some sense, but we had to account for RG3's legs on every play. Athur's only job yesterday was to make sure RG3 didn't get loose outside the pocket and he did very good with that. Speed at linebacker is the most important thing in stopping the QB run game, and we have it in spades.
When Baylor did set run plays for RG3, they blew up, most notably, that 3rd and 4 speed option they ran that RG3 fumbled. May have been the biggest play of the day. That play turned the game around.

Mizzou is basically Baylor lite, but with more meth. Not sure why everyone is so worried. ZOMG, we have to account for a running QB?! I'd rather do that than have a QB that has 500+ yard with 5 TD's in the previous few occasions.

my EMAW is running so high right now, I just don't believe Bill "Cortez" Snyderman can be beaten by the visor. No Chance GO CATS!
-
the buzz hasn't wore off.
I'm convinced..right now...that we'll beat MU by 14+... I know that isn't right...but wer'e freaking ranked! omfg

I'm not playing the win down, asshat. Just because we beat Baylor doesn't mean we're going to go 7-0.
-
if you bros dont think baylor is better than mizzou then you dont watch much football /respect ftb go cats :emawkid:
-
it'll be another screamer vs. MU.
I'd better go stock up on heart meds.
-
I thought about posting something similar to this, but then i realized we are K-State and we will find away to eff it up. :dubious:

And Missouri isn't even receiving votes. What a bunch of clowns.

I didn't say we were going to go 7-0. I'm a happy fan, we're ranked and undefeated. I'm enjoying the win, and your worrying about missouri and it's not even monday yet. You can fret all week, just saying enjoy it a bit... asshat.

It's never too early to start hating Misery.

which means we inevitably lose this next game.

i was somewhat pak'd at a bar in arkansas during the mizzou game last year, but i absolutely at no point in time had a feeling that klein worked them over.
-
He was working on them, not so much a workover.
When Coffman touched the field, it seemed like our Jenga, or mojo, came tumbling down.
-
October 29th Gameday comes to the the Little Apple!!! :ksu:
-
sig
-
I want it too. But I am not going to get ahead of myself. A lot of crap has to fall in place b4 we get a GameDay again.
And by the way, did anyone notice the slack-jawed herda-hadda yokel in the bottom right-hand corner of that picture?!? :surprised:

Here are the games that week. There are actually some pretty dece. ones we'd have to compete with. :ohno:

Clemson vs Ga Tech
:ohno:
-
In looking at the upcoming schedules of those two teams, I don't see either losing. It's gonna be GT vs. Clemson.
Of course this is a moot point because I'm sure we'll somehow shazbot! up two of the next three games or something.

Hey now, Oklahoma vs KSU COULD be a better game, if we don't blow it.... I don't see the fighting Stoops losing it.

If we won the next three of our games where would we be ranked? We'd be at least top 15 right? How much would Georgia Tech move up?

Ga. Tech at Miami?
:dunno:
If we don't get Gameday for a 7-0 LHC Bill Snyder vs. a 7-0 Bob Stoops I'll probably just quit caring about this season and sports in general.

quit being a lame, getting ahead of yourself is what being a fan is all about.

won't OU have been in a crap ton of gameday games this year?

GUYS, what about 8-0 @ OSU :dunno:

if our D were to hold TTech's track meet to fewer than 30pts I'll be most impressed.

Tech doesn't have a track meet offense anymore. They played ku's defense last week.

they can still put up points..but yea, I agree with KU's defensive suckiness. Makes our D last year look respectable.

Hi Brent.
Just basking in the glory of calling it
-
Calling it 3 weeks ago isn't exactly impressive. Calling it 3 months ago and maybe I wouldn't think you're a giant doucher.
