Title: We're letting a motherfucking 104 year-old judge rule on things?

Yeah, one of the downsides of lifetime appointments. This one is actually still kinda sane though. There's some in their 80s and 90s out there that couldn't find their dicks if it were required.

Also, not sure how I feel about abortion insurance. Seems like that's something that should be an out-of-pocket thing.

Prob should just treat it like any other medical procedure.  If it's health related, it's covered.  If it's "cosmetic," you gotta pay out of pocket.

The best part is that deep down the ACLU lawyers also really want to say the dude is too old.

Judge Brown was a really nice, funny guy. Good judge, too. He will be missed.

I like to imagine all the townsfolk breaking out into tentative dance played by dusty contraband boom boxes.

Brother clerked for him in Wichita last year.

Brother was impressed with him even at 104.

Would imagine it is relatively easy to be impressed by any 100+ yr old.  I mean "JFC, did you see him just feed himself" or "Holy crap, that d00d can still walk" would hit my mind daily.  That said, I would constantly be thinking that this guy prob commuted to his first job on a horse whenever he was reviewing a case that had anything to do with civil rights, women's rights, or any case involving technology more advanced than the telegram.
