Title: One positive thing
Post by: Acceleration Man on September 30, 2011, 10:06:46 AM
... about tomorrow's game -- KSU (and espec. Snyds) has an incredibly good track record defending embarassing heisman candidates. See: Ricky Williams, Donovan McNabb, Carson Palmer, Seneca Wallace, Colt McCoy, etc. Historically, we've schemed really well against the teams that lean heavily on those type of playmakers. Here's hoping we can do it again (and not let Gannaway go wild).

Having Arthur Brown (and a rapidly improving Trey Walker) doesn't hurt against a guy like Griffin. We had absolutely no one even close to that last year. Walker played, but it was his first meaningful snaps.

yeah, I'd prefer not to have a Taylor Martinez flashback from last year
