Title: Snyder gushes over A Brown
Post by: Barry McCockner on September 25, 2011, 08:00:13 AM
Quote
"Arthur is awfully quick.  He's quicker than he is fast.  He just has a nose for the football.  He does a good job of avoiding blocks, getting where he needs to be.  To couple with the speed, he's learned to have some patience, which prevents him from overrunning the football.  They've got some speed and you can't deny that and Arthur caught some of that speed from the inside out.  You line him up and put the clock on him and he's not going to run as quick as they do, but he plays as fast as you can play and that's in a position that you have to play a lot.  To play fast when you're trying to process things is not an easy task and he does it well."

That's about as complimentary as I've ever heard him about a player that 1) doesn't suck and 2) still has eligibility.

Odds on Arthur pulling a Terry Pierce and rough ridin' himself with a poor NFL decision this spring?

Braden Wilson keeps that streak alive this year.

Hate Wilson or not gotta give him some props on his, near clip block he had to help Hubert tear off a 47 yard run.

Arthur was amazing yesterday. There was one play in particular where we blitzed the corner, Harris made the right read and threw to the running back in the flat over the blitzing corner, and Arthur got outside to hold the RB to a 2 or 3 yard gain. Last year, that play goes for 20+ yards.

It got to where if we made a nice play on defense within 10 yards of the line, you knew Arthur was in there somewhere.

the qb was like, "Welp, my receiver is on his ass, guess I'll run" and arthur was all, "nope"

View from the end zone was the best.  :emawkid:
