What a totally outlandish, Fake Sugar Dick (WARNING, NOT THE REAL SUGAR DICK!) post. Have you ever actually played football? No way he only completes for that percentage. Dumbass.
-
you know...He can't stay that good forever. He'll throw his first INT against us.
but a side note, RG3 scares the crap outta me. :ohno:
-
Good thing their D hasn't gotten any better since last season.

Yeah, the '99 defense isn't walking out there next Saturday.
-
I'm cautiously optimistic about next Saturday's game. It should be fun.
-
you know who doesn't scare me...RG3. We almost beat these clowns at their place last year. I'm going to have a lot of loud noises waiting for them in mhk.

I don't think they punted once last year. RG3 is the best QB in college football, and it's not even close.
-
It's nice to think that our run D is actually decent for once. Our pass D was pretty good as well, save a few big plays. Isn't our new d-backs coach like a super old dude that has coached in the NFL? Wasn't real pleased with dudes just getting wide open out the blue.

okay, so they didn't punt once, and we still had a chance to win, on the road, without the chamber playing
-
Arthur takes our rg3's knee 1st quarter, cats still lose 21-24.
-
He has more TDs than incomplete passes :surprised:
-
RG3 is better than Denard? Better than Luck? Are you stupid boy?

He is better than Denard

Yes. Have you seen his stats? They are unreal.
-
If we're talking just college stuff, it's open for debate if Denard is better than RG3. I don't personally think he is. Obviously, Luck is the best QB in the country though. (Kellen Moore is probably better than Denard or RG3.)

41/49, 8 TD, 0 INT. 12.74 YPA. That's as close to flawless as it gets, and he's faced legit competition in TCU. Factor in that he's a track star, and he's easily the best college QB out there. Nobody is close.

okay bearsquawk

Maybe the Chiefs will ne able to draft him #1 overall. Dude sounds like the best thing since sliced bread.

If they were smart, they would.
-
Really?
-
Really?
8 touch downs
7 incomplete passes
So, yeah.
-
Really?
Yes. He's an injury liability, but he's better than Vince Young and Michael Vick. He's a sure thing as long as he's healthy. Luck is not a sure thing at all. See Tim Couch, Ryan Leaf, Matt Leinart, etc.
-
rg3 is legit, fortunately Baylor as a team is beatable.

Yes, I think if we can make them punt twice, we win.
-
just out of curiousity- where do the draft experts have the next coming of christ getting drafted? If stats meant much at all, why is it that like one TTU QB is actually on an NFL roster right now?

Why does that matter?
-
Tech QB's were clear system QB's under Leach. I don't think you can say that RG3 is a system QB.
-
Just seems like the best qb in the country (by far) would be a likely top5 pick. that's all.

That doesn't mean crap. Jamarcus Russel would like to speak with you.

you also think that cosh all of the sudden decided to suck a lot less this year
-
Russel wasn't the best QB in college the year he was drafted?
-

The only thing hurting him is his injury history. He will be drafted in the first round, and very well could be drafted in the top 10. The best QB in the NFL today was drafted in the 6th round. Plus, the college game is much different than the pro game.
-
Russel wasn't the best QB in college the year he was drafted?
He probably was, but he sucked ass in the NFL. Just saying that it's completely moot to bring up the NFL draft.
-
Russel wasn't the best QB in college the year he was drafted?
He was, and he was nowhere near the level of RG3 this season.
-
Which one of you retards just xompared RG3 to Brady? I wish there was a stronger word than Fake Sugar Dick (WARNING, NOT THE REAL SUGAR DICK!) to describe you.

RG3 is 1000x the college QB that Brady was. I'm not sure who compared him to Brady, though.
-

Nobody did. It's just that ranking QBs in college by comparing where they will go in the draft is completely irrelevant.
-
So, the best QB in the country often isn't drafted until the 6th round? Okay then.
-
In 2007, if somebody said, "In 2011 Josh Freeman will be starting QB every sunday, while JaMarcus Russell is not even in the league." people would have crapped down their pants laughing.
-

Tom Brady wasn't the best QB in the country, dumbass.
-
The NFL has gotten extremely skittish towards dual threat QB's recently. Michael Vick and Cam Newton are currently the exception, not the rule. NFL franchises want QB's that can take a 3 step drop out from under center and quickly hit receivers on short routes or hit receivers way downfield with bombs delivered from a cannon arm. So it's increasingly about what kind of system you can play/have played in rather than how good of a QB you are in college. And RG3 is very, very good. We're going to have a lot of problems with him.
-
Agree with everything 42 said, except "recently." The NFL has never really been big on them.
-
I did not create this thread to talk about the nfl draft, shut the eff up already.

I brought my post back to RG3 :dunno:
-
Suck it, Lemmmy!
-
RG3 will destroy us. There's no doubt about it. He will probably shred every D this year sans Oklahoma (maybe). The question is whether our offense can keep up and will our Special Teams screw us. I think we win but it will probably be like last year. Cats 45 RG3 41
-
So far this year we are 0-3 in seriously injuring the opposing QB. Unless this embarrassing trend stops, we are mumped.
