Title: So what do you want to see in this weeks game?
Post by: ednksu on September 16, 2011, 02:52:31 AM
An offensive line that isn't getting pushed around by smaller guys.  I would like to see them getting past the first level and have blocking into the second level of the defense to spur our running attack.

Brown needs to step his game up.  We know that he is a good player but he needs to remove the decision from Snyder's hands about who should be getting top billing.

I know its kstateo or tuckish of me, but i really want to bring back name chants on punt returns.  eff the block that punt nonsense.  Truly amazing to hear T-New's name being chanted.  I would like to have Lockett back there just for the continuity, plus I bet he would be really rough ridin' good at returns as a side benefit.

A sell-out grade, and overcast skies (66 degrees)

A FAU-2006 type performance

A special teams TD

A safety!

1.) O-line hold its own against acclaimed Kent D-line

2.) Have a positive TO ratio (2 or less)

3.) Not go backwards on defense

4.) A win for KSU! Oh wait...

Chingon's Checklist (Chin Check) for week 2

1)  Not allow a third and long conversion in the first quarter
2)  QB sack + fumble (don't have to recover) with the D-line going apeshit afterwards
3)  No fumbles (an INT is ok if its an aggressive throw)
4)  Skinny post to the TE, it's completed and TE didn't have to fall to catch it
5)  100 yrds of rushing
6)  Score on over 75% of possessions
7)  C Harp catches a pass in the flat then breaks a tackle for 10+ more yards
8)  Hold opponent to under 50 yrds rushing
9)  Stop a third (or fourth) and short by stuffing the run (bad exchange doesn't count)
10)  Weak-side option that gains more than 15 yrds

A last second game-winning 40 yard touchdown pass to Broderick Smith would be pretty exciting. :excited:

I would like to see a 1st half ass pounding which will lead to a 2nd half played mostly by backups led by this guy (https://goemaw.com/forum/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fgrfx.cstv.com%2Fphotos%2Fschools%2Fksu%2Fsports%2Fm-footbl%2Fauto_headshot%2F6726311.jpeg&hash=50419a66b356dde8e376bdd03d2d422c41545bc1) at quarterback,
