definitely don't want to put any stress into the meat, you can taste it after it's butchered

Link to the KAKE article and video, drove right by this and my first thoughts where that it was a trial run of our new meat goat weapons system.

The term is "harvest."
They'll be basking in tzatziki before the week is done.

in kauai some goats got away from explorers like a long time ago and now they are all over the cliff sides and you see them everywhere and it's fun to point them out and it's like wow that is a really steep cliff I don't think that goat is going to be able to walk down it and then it just floors it right down it and bounces around all over and it's like wow, huh, guy can really climb.

They are a joy. Those same explorers lost at least one boy chicken and one girl chicken too, cause those fuckers all all over.

in jamaica once we asked our driver alfred about financial type stuff. he told us that if he was to ever get into money trouble that he would just "go get a goat". i took that as him saying that he would steal a goat from someone/somewhere and then sell it or something. no idea if it was one of the bouncing type that sd is referencing.

I'm no farmer but I think the technical term for "boy chicken" is rooster

So there's a lady up here breeding goats, not for meat, but to rent them out for various purposes, including "crime prevention."

I could live like a damn king if I had goats to haul stuff.
I was looking into renting pack goats for this fall's elk trips. I had heard this one lady did it but couldn't find any contact info so started calling the vets in town. Five minutes on the phone and this guy offers to give me two of his pack goats. I KNEW I shouldn't have bought in an HOA.

How do the goats prevent crime exactly?

How do the goats prevent crime exactly?
A local told me because "they're mean" and thus better than a guard dog. I guess if you have them around your property and a n'er-do-well is thinking of intruding, they're less likely to do so in the face of a give-no-fucks goat.

Having an overgrown yard is a crime.
