Title: Wichita Wildcat Classic
Post by: fr@ck me on September 06, 2011, 02:35:31 PM
Just got an email from the bank.  Presale starts tomorrow at 10 a.m. code for access is Purple.  They did a lot of thinking with that code.  We should pack it and make signs thanking Huggins for making us what we are  :ck:

Dear Wichitawians/Wichitawites,

Best hotel to stay at that would not only be close to the Intrust game, but also close to large amts of drinking before and after without having to drive or spend a bunch on cabs.

Also, does Wichita have cabs.

TIA.

Courtyard at Old Town.  I could possibly even be talked into using my annual free night to book a room for somebody and have them pay me a reduced price for it.

Hotel at Old Town seems to be for Saul and bachelorette parties but it's right in the middle.

There's a few more hotels that are still easily within walking distance to IBA, probably closer, but are further from old town.  Hyatt, Drury (formerly Broadview), Holiday Inn, Waterwalk Fairfield, Hotel at WaterWalk, new ones seem to be popping up down there.  There's also lots of shady motels close by if you were thinking of buying a whore while in town.

I can host some non-weirdos at my place (probably closer than all hotels listed thus far).

There are cabs.  You won't need one.

LSOC already has a room booked at the Courtyard.  The "Player's Suite"

that's pretty funny because I already booked the Player's Suite.  when i was booking the Player's Suite, i heard the other operator talking to you trying to book the Player's Suite.  i told my operator to give you the Gimp's Garage Suite and just tell you it's the Players Suite.  she loved the idea so i'm 100% sure that's what she did.  enjoy the G2S.

Just make sure that whatever you do that you never engage in any type of conversation or interaction with the guy named Ed in Hoisington. He wears a speedo to mow his lawn and I am fairly sure he is a squawk so there is a little background info. Enjoy Cheyenne Bottoms!

Well ya. Duh.  The only thing Ellinwood has is their broke-ass After Harvest Fest....which is basically like a Labor Day Celebration2.0.  Sad, really, that they can't think of anything better to admire and copy.

That said, best Labor Day in the state goes to Hoisington Kansas.
