_Fan is your analysis sponsored by Rev Honey? f'ing sellout. I agree with Man vs. Zone blocking schemes don't really make a difference when the line gets destroyed from the snap. Possibly more misdirection could have been called, but even then there was so much penetration it might not have done much.

LT Foketi got rough ridin' destroyed all night. Multiple times he never got a hand on the DE as he went by.

Amazing.
Thanks _FAN. Makes the premium subscription worth every penny.

if #fireSnyder happens, #hireSeanSnyder is next. Of course with Patterson losing to Baylor, he may be looking up a couple states to come home

A serious question: Your grasp on information about a random blocking scheme or the odd pulling lineman really seemed to begin bubbling in your frontal lobes after that second paragraph, just mixing itself together into a sparkling cocktail of useful information. So abstemious and tidy. You were jacked in. Booted up the rest of the way.
So...the question is: Why did you wait until then to take that shot of raw honey direct to your brain? I'm gonna take my own shot in the dark (and yes, that's an adianoeta for my impending and metaphorically blindfolded attempt at deduction and the sweet sip of Central American honey angel nectar that will be fueling it) and say you were planning all along for a cleverly buried testimonial of the power of our new sponsor.
"Rev Honey: It works even better if you're already smart!"

why in the Sam hell would Patterson want to coach a MWC team? He is now in a BCS conference, bet he's thanking fritzed up stars now!

1. Don't knock rev honey. Please.
2. This is where the "vanilla" comments are fair; there are multiple things we could've done to attack what EKU did defensively that we chose not to. EKU did a great job of having the defensive front shoot the gap whenever we pulled a lineman and they often caught our power running game from behind. However, much of that was because we didn't get a good push on the LOS on the playside.
We did start doing more in the second half the longer they stayed in the game; we started utilizing more QB run game. What they were doing with stunts/slants did allow for QB run game b/c at times they couldn't/didn't account for the QB, which is strange considering Klein's strengths last year.
However one thing we didn't do that would've killed them is utilize some boot passes or misdirection. EKU deserves credit for having a pretty quick front 7, especially for a FCS school, but they were so agressive attacking the ball that we could have given them fits, but for whatever reason we chose not to. I am really surprised we didn't see some boot passes or even a reverse to try to slow them down a bit.

Its kind of fun to look back at this now. And a lot of the posts around Page 52 or so. Like this one: http://goEMAW.com/forum/index.php?topic=14431.0

I like this one:
If Bryce doesn't lead the team in rushing this year we won't win 4 games. Hubert is terrible, just awful.

The voice of reason.
Games like these happen sometimes. To pretend that we're the only program that's ever come close to having an embarrassing loss is a little ridiculous.
If we continue to be as bad as we were last night, then I'll agree that it's time for us to write this team off, but until then, I think the meltdown is probably a bit premature.

love how I seized the oppy to unload on Sean.

So relieved to dodge the productive hobby bullet

This appears to be the most accurate post in the thread.
Maybe Sean was preoccupied worrying about his daughters coming engagement that he forced 50k paying ticket holders watch?
