When was the last time a K-State D held a team to 129 or less yards and pretty much a shutout?

If you blame the D for the one TD then you have a tremendously LFBIQ. Im giving the offense (specifically B. Brown) all the credit for that one. And btw you're not even being original, you stole that lame ass crap from another thread.

Would like an honest assessment of the defense. I wasn't able to see the game, just listened on the radio. Did they look fundamentally sound? Tackle well? Played faster? Was the D-line actually winning their matchups?
Even last season the defense had a few good games against lower level teams, though statistically this looks pretty impressive. Someone try to sell me that the defense really will be better...

Linebackers looked great, they closed in on the ball very well and made good reads. Corners got beat just a few times on the edge, most of their big plays on passes were in the middle of the field. Didn't pay attention to much to the safeties. The D-Line put great pressure on the QB and is much improved from last year. The QB was running for his life the whole game. :lynchmob:

I feel like the defense could be much improved. MY NIGGA

pure kool aid boys and girls...#1 this was a div II team missing its #1 QB and star WR #2 last I knew, umm cosh was still at the defensive helm #3 alot of people thought the same thing following ol lazy eye's first game against a lesser offense #4 Sorry folks but there should of been about 5 more sacks or lost for yards plays...more of the same cosh taught arm tackling techniques...ladies and gentlemen did you happen to watch the Baylor/TCU game? This D is not TCU caliber, and we know that our offense isn't going to be able to out score other teams, if I wrong, than let me have some of that purple kool aid, but til then, I'd better stick to the hard crap, because were looking at a long season

I know it's kool aide, but I need it :frown:

I'm not into being politically correct to make one feel better...DIV II, it is what it is dic wad...just like old balls is old balls, nothing warm and fuzzy about that either
-
what was really sweet about the D in the late 90's....is that Hickson, Murphy, Allen, Scobey.....never sucked enough as RB's to fumble the ball and let the opponent return it to our own 1 yard line..and so our D wouldn't let a directional team score an offensive TD on them.
