Title: 1 seed vs 2 seed
Post by: WildCatzPhreak on February 25, 2010, 11:18:47 PM
Am I selfish that I would prefer a 2 seed in OKC than a 1 seed anywhere else?  Is the difference really that significant?

I'm sure there's a statistically significant difference between how far 1 seeds go vs how far 2 seeds go. I would take a 1 seed any day.

It doesn't matter if we are a 1 seed or a 2 seed... we'll be in Oklahoma city regardless.

Iowa State was fairly recently a 2-seed.  Havs, refresh my memory, wasn't that a final four run? :flush:

Why would you want to put yourself in KU's bracket?  Not smart.

We wouldn't be in KU's bracket in either situation, genius.

roffles

But back to the point. KSU's prime goal that might be within reach is the top #2 seed or the bottom #1 seed. The difference between these two positions is virtually nil.

I'd like to be a 1 seed anywhere just for what that can do for the program.
